Never quite understood how people could have a crush on an animated character. However, like many young teenage girls, I did somehow find Trent Lane from Daria quite attractive. He had a duck phone. How could you not fantasize about him wanting to get into your pants?

I like her English dub voice in Stand Alone Complex. It's Mary Elizabeth McGlynn - one of the few female anime voice actors who doesn't sound like a hysterical twelve-year-old. She was also Julia in the dub of Cowboy Bebop.

Nausicaa... sweet Nausicaa. Friend of giant insects.
She's a bit too pure and virginal for me. At least in the first film. She lets her hair down a bit in the little-known sequel, Nausicaa: of the Vally of the Orgies.

Since March this year, I've been watching The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, perhaps too much, I kinda have a thing for Yuki Nagato. I know that Mikuru is the moé one, and I won't deny that she's cute, because I know she is, but I just like Yuki more.



But in the first 4 parts of Melancholy, she had glasses and looked like this:



But don't get the wrong idea, it's the whole character that I like. She has special abilities, very quite, has some funny moments:


and there's alot more to her, as Mikuru Asahina says, "That's Classified!"

The story is set in a Japanese High School. She's a humanoid interface created by aliens, and she was created 3 years ago because of an incident that happened at the same time. It's kind of an in dept story that you'd have to look over.

Being from England, I don't really know much about High Schools, I'm guessing 16, which isn't far off from my age. It's just that I like her characteristics, nothing else.

Thanks to dr.bender nye. I am getting into The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. I thought the show is really cute and stuff. I have seen some episodes. Suzumiya has got some attitude and I think Kyon a total hottie.
