Gadget from Rescue Rangers.
The kid in me likes the cartoon and the adult likes the nerd/geekiness of her.
Of course I know now it can never be.

But there is Rule 34.

That was almost 40 years ago for me.  I think that's where I picked up my fetish for redheads.

One of my cousin's daughters thought that I would be a good match for Shego from Kim Possible.  I haven't watched it enough to know whether she knows what she's talking about.  Otherwise, my list is pretty much the same as Pitt's.

I just saw some of the (leaked) concept art for my character crush's new game, it doesn't look so good. I hope they keep the previous art and hopefully the previous voice.

Hopefully the previous voice?  Yikes, you definitely don't want them to have a VA switch.

It's so wrong for companies to replace VAs.  It's a horrible experience for both the VAs and the characters they have voiced on an anime/game series.  :nono:

I know of two different companies who have changed VAs - one company changed the voices of a long-running anime series (Pokemon), while the other company changed the voices of a popular game series (Sonic).  It's terrible the way companies are treating VAs these days....

But the good news is that there are dedicated fans who are fighting to bring the original voice cast back to the respective anime/game series.

No, Lisa, it's not a horrible experience for the characters.  The characters, being fictional, generally aren't even aware of it.

Well, excuse me....

I guess I meant to use the word "fans" instead of "characters".  But seriously, does it really matter?

And sheesh, I say one thing wrong here, and you bite my head off.

   Well, excuse me....

What aspect of David A's post warrants that tone/attitude?

I guess I meant to use the word "fans" instead of "characters".

Thanks for the clarification. We now have a better idea of what you meant. Would replacing "the characters" with "the fans of the characters" have been an even more accurate representation of your intent?

But seriously, does it really matter?

If by 'it' you mean the changing of voice actors then 'no', I don't suppose it does. It has been happening for as long as there have been voiced animations and the likelyhood of such an event seems to have only increased as time has gone on.

If, however, by 'it' you mean the writing of one thing when you actually mean something quite different, then 'yes', it does, especially on media like the internet.

And sheesh, I say one thing wrong here, and you bite my head off.

David A's post was calm, moderate, and not at all aggressive. So, 'no' he did not bite your head off. What manner of response did you expect? A cookie and a pat on the head?

Perhaps it was the way I read his post in my head.  It came off a bit sarcastic sounding.  Which I thought was a bit rude, if he was being sarcastic towards me.

If he wasn't then, oops, I just misunderstood his post completley.

Yes, that would've been exactly what I was trying to say.  But I didn't say it that way.  It was very late, so I said something and meant something else, I don't know why I didn't catch that mistake....  Yes, I know.  I'm an idiot.  You'll have to forgive my ignorance.  No, seriously, I am an idiot for being that stupid!!

And I'm sorry about all of this, David A.  I made a really bad mistake and I'm guilty as charged.  I deserve to smell Urectum as my punshiment, along with spending a year in that place for criminally insane robots.

David A's post was calm, moderate, and not at all aggressive. So, 'no' he did not bite your head off. What manner of response did you expect? A cookie and a pat on the head?
It was a misunderstanding.  Okay?

I simply misunderstood his comment somehow.  I took it to have a completely different meaning.  Don't know why....  O_o

And no one understood what I said, because I didn't make myself clear in the first place.   *sigh*  Anyway, let's just forget this happened.  Everyone's just gonna think I'm a big, mean jerk now, because I took someone else's post the wrong way.

No, you're right; I was being sarcastic towards you, but in a "you said something unintentionally silly, and I'm pointing it out because I'm a pedantic jerk" kind of way, not in a "you're stupid and I hate you" kind of way.
