Wait wait wait.  Freakin' OC has its own thread but nothing for Eureka?  Seriously?

There are people here who like Eureka, right?  Not necessarily the most original show, but definitely entertaining and enjoyable.

Anyway, watch this season 3 promo

To explain Eureka in short:
It's better than the OC.
Wanna watch?

It's one of my favorite shows. I can't wait for it to finally return again.

I'd say it's one part Home Improvement, one part SG1 and one part X-Files.

That promo was hilarious. An actual episode that was a musical would be funny.

I would say that Eureka is one of the best shows ever. I can't believe the season premier is next week.  :)

This series is not as believable as the O.C.

For the most part, that was a thoroughly entertaining episode.  I do have one gripe with it, though.  The F-16s.

I mean, come on.  This is a show about the most advanced town in the world, ever, and to shoot down a squadron of Cylon B2s you send out a couple of 30-year-old fighters?  Seriously?

But it's some bimbo Fortune 500 lady calling in the F-16s, not some GD genius.

Very good season premiere. Martha was quite entertaining.

Dang it, Chay. *I* was going to make a "Eureka!" joke. I must have sat through about a million episodes of that show during 8th grade science class.

Zoe focuses on the red-hot race for mayor, while her science partner inadvertently creates a second sun. Like, oops. Carter and Zane can destroy the fiery orb, but they need a degree of protection that can get them close enough.

"degree of protection"

Is that some sort of subliminal advertising?

Also, the trailer for that episode looked good, well at least until Carter's sister showed up...

Instantanium reminds me of Diamondillium and Diamondium.

Purple goo does what?

Strange stuff, which is why they called it Element X. ;)

Wait a second, was this year's last episode or what?

Technically, yes.  It's Scifi's wonderful midseason break.  It resumes in January, apparently.

*Season Opening Bump*

Very nice opener. I loved Sheriff Andy and his constant pain. I hope they keep him, he's an interesting character, even if he doesn't exactly have a job right now.

Good show. Not great. It never got a good hold on me, but I watched it all the way through this winter. Don't know if there have been any new episodes since, I haven't bothered to look for it. I do believe they have some problems with believability, but it's alright for a laugh and some minor excitement.
