The Dark KnightJust saw it and it was the best movie of the summer, no doubt. I had expectations that it would be good, but I wasn't expecting it to be EPIC. Ledger gave an amazing performance and stole the entire show. This Joker is the best Super Villain I've ever seen in film. Echart was great too, but I personally like Nick Naylor over Harvey Dent. I liked how they allowed Rachel to die. It re-enforced the darkness of the movie and the idea that no one was safe. For me it was easier to accept because of the actress change. Oh and if Batman was going to have bodies on him, he should have at least added Joker to the list. That guy was too terrifying to be allowed to live.
Like Chay said, the best part of the movie was the "Pencil Disappearing Act" A+

Get Smarts Bruce and Loyd: Out Of ControlHeh, Heroes Hiro and some fat dude in a spin off comedy gadget adventure. They're basically Q's for the Get Smart agents (Anne Hathaway makes a brief cameo). Hiro Bruce even gets with Charlie again (Super Memory Girl also from Heroes), nawwww! Quite good for a cheapo short movie (more like an extended TV show). B+

The Dark KnightIt leaves shouting, "SEQUEL!" but not sequel could top it. The bar is too high. Ledger was amazing, Oscar-worthy. Yes, I said it, Oscar-worthy. If this film did not have him it would not have been as awesome. And that's the simple truth. Eckhart was amazing too, but Ledger carried this film. And, speaking of Eckhart: who didn't see this coming? There were so many references to the fact that Harvey Dent becomes Two Face throughout the film that anybody should've seen it coming, comic fan or not. I was a little disappointed that they through Two Face into this film and killed him off (or so we think). Would've been a great villian for a sequel that could've matched this film's awesomeness. Maybe he didn't die, but we'll have to wait and see. It's good that they kept him as Two Face underwraps for this long. 9/10Best non-WALL-E film of the year. Edit: Is it bad that I felt that the Joker was more just than Batman?

The first did, what with the card and all, but this was kinda squared off. Also, a friend of mine was wondering whether they may have been a deleted scene which may have had the joker escape or lead to the fact that hey may have been able to escape leaving him open for a sequel, but cause of Heaths death they may have taken it out, thoughts?

I'm all for bad taste jokes, but that just wasn't creative. People died in 9/11. Ha! Originally posted by Nixorbo: They killed the wrong villain By the same token, do you think that could've been edited out given the circumstances?

I just saw two movies in a row that I didn't totally hate! Titanic dominating film industry, you are ON A ROLL TODAY. The Dark KnightI'm sorry to say that this really was great. I kind of feel like a failure because I don't have something negative to say about the saga of Batman. Oh! Oh! It was a little bit long, but considering that it was all mostly action and plot and antics and clown punching, that wasn't really something I can fault them for. If anything it felt like I was being rewarded with an extra 10 minutes of clown punching. I think Heath Ledger was probably the weakest part of the movie... not that anybody is going to agree with me. He wasn't terrible or anything, but he just got on my nerves... and he needed some chapstick. A+Kung Fu PandaSurprisingly good! I want some delicious panda meat now. Best line: "We should hang out." "BUT HANGING OUT WOULD HAVE TO WAIT!" B+

It's funnier if it's unexpected. Like: Q: Have you ever danced with the devil in the pale moonlight? A: Huh? *gunshot*
