I missed Yes We Canberra (or rather, Yes We Willberra) last night because I was watching Let Me Be Frank With You The Fully Franked Tour For One Night Stallonely but I watched the repeat tonight and my favourite part were the song at the end and the Latham Hand Cam.

I have to say, it's nice watching some non-American political news for once.

Shame the Latham Hand cam didn't really go anywhere... thought it would lead to something.

Last night's episode was pretty hilarious even though I missed some of it because my TV reception was being all shitty because of all the wind.

Also, according to Andrew Hansen's Twitter there's going to be a Yes We Canberra DVD coming out at some point, so hooray! And so on.

Ben Cousins thing was on during the show and repeat, so I couldn't see it, but the song in the other episode -- I think I suffocated myself laughing. I need to see the last episode on iView at somepoint.

Good news! There's actually a second repeat on a third channel; 10:30pm Sat, ABC News 24

That's not an excuse. The Ben Cousins thing is stupid and attention whoring.

I saw snippets of that Ben Cousins thing through commercials...seems so ridiculous. Who cares if some idiot gets addicted to drugs. As if it's some community message. Yay, some rich guy with a huge support system was a complete dickhead and upset his own, his family and his friends lives with his drug habit. Gee. How can people not already know things like that? Our society is so stupid :nono: "oh my god, what an eye opener!" Not like they don't teach you about the dangers of drugs, alcohol, cigarettes and not taking candy from strangers throughout your whole school life. There's no excuse for an educated person to go down that path and get paid for it. Ugh. Can I have some money for never having smoked or taken drugs or gotten so drunk I puked over the neighbour's dog? Srsly.

Anyway...hooray for David and Margaret in their pyjamas for some reason. They went on to give the exact same rating for every movie they reviewed in their show. They don't even try to hide their relationship anymore.

I know! *sobs* I wasn't really interested in the doco anyway. Seemed like a scam to me. There are way better documentaries on drug addiction.

EDIT:

Yay, watched the ABC24 repeat! I loved M&D cameos, and them rating her on Twitter. That TV blooper was an absolute gem. And I can't wait till they return!
The only thing that pissed me off was the headline bar that blocked out the tweets!

So The Chaser's new show The Hamster Wheel is on right now. I was watching it until ABC decided to stop working, so I'll have to watch it on iView later but, so far, it seems pretty good.

I like that they're doing a show that has a more specific focus than the War On Everything that isn't an election show.

iView?  That's the lamest steal of BBC's iPlayer.

(both which are lame names stolen from Apple)

No shit.

Anyway, I finally watched the whole thing and I really enjoyed it; I'm looking forward to seeing how the rest of the series turns out.

I luckily also got to watch it despite being at my grandma's house, she watched it with me :)
I really enjoyed it, I was worried during the first 5-10 minutes, and then it got really good.
Will be watching this every week if I remember ^^
