It is a bit of a shock but each season has a different version of the song. if you want to hear the original again on the series you will have to wait til the very last episode.

Way to ruin the last episode ass face! :'(

This second season is confusing, i wanted it to be like the oceans movies, get the old gang back together, but it's all scattered and confusing! Ak!

Believe me as revalations go that was a very small one. There are still pleanty of twists and turns before you even get the last episode.

yeah, didn't really think that was ruining the episode.

Are the other seasons versions any good?

I'd say the first one is the best

Season 3 has more of funk tilt to it

Season 4 is more R n B sung by some Baltimor kids to refelct teh season being about the schools.

Season 5 is probably the closest to the first season and is sung by one of the minor characters (tyring to remeber is walon the drug rehabilitation guy had appeared by season two or not)

Apparently each one is meant to represent the different sides of the city that each season shows.

Wasn't he always gay? Like, right from the first episode we see him?

And he so is a badass. I love that court scene.

Yeah, he's always gay, there's a suss scene in the first ep where he's cuddling br(a/e)ndon (I think that was his name) in the streets, then in the second or third ep that start talking about him being gay and you see him making out with br(a/e)ndon.

Hey.

Totally understandable, because that show is packed... I haven't seen it since marathoning it for the first time in five and a half days back in mid-August, so I'm surprised I even remembered that. I really need to rewatch.

Was that season one? That dude with his back to the camera, that's the guy who pretended to be a crack head in the first season, then he wasn't in the second and he's just popped up again at the start of season 3.

I'll assume you mean Detective Sydnor and not the infamous Clay Davis.

Trying to remember if he was in series 2 or if his postion was effectivly taken by Beatie Russle/ Main problem I found with his character is that he does seem a little background and probably the least developed character in the show (still more developed that most characters in alot of other shows)

Yeah, syndor is who I think that is. Don't know who those other people you are talking about are. I dig this seasons song, and I'm glad it's back to stringer and Avon centric.

I've been watching Eli Stone lately. I wasn't sure if anybody else watched it, so I didn't want to open up it's own thread.
It's "its" not "it's." And the Yo Gabba Gabba thread should have gone for more than just a page.

Hmm, the guy who played Ray Cole in the wire, (One of the white detectives who worked in the same department as bunk) who they hold a wake for near the beginning of season 3, was actually played by the show's co-creator, and they killed him off cause he actually died in real life :(

General television-related mini-rant, I understand why networks don't want to put all episodes of their shows online. I don't agree, but I understand. Given that, though, what I can't begin to fathom is why they don't always make the the first few episodes available free online. I often want to see if a show is worth checking out, and I don't want to watch the most recent five episodes, I want to watch the first five.

Also, they really just need to give it up and stream them all free online. It's the most economical solution to piracy - if all your shows are available as legal streams, even with commercials, it's not worth the trouble for most people to rip it off. Then digital piracy becomes as much a non-issue as VCRs - appliances designed specifically to rip off broadcast television - were in the analog era.

Of course, none of this can really happen until all of the tv industry stops squabbling about how to slice up the pie - apparently there's a probable Actor's strike looming, exact same motivation as the writers' strike last year. Why they couldn't just all strike together I do not know. Fuck them in the ear, I say.
