Yeah, seems like all TV producers can think up are shows about cops or hospitals. Just once I'd like to see a TV show set in a Post Office.
"Boss! Boss! This parcel is ticking!!"
"Looks like someone's getting a clock for Christmas."
YEEEEAAAAAAH...
Awesome!
"There's a woman at the front desk demanding a book of Elvis commemorative stamps, but we haven't had those for years!" "Tell her we're sorry...but Elvis has left the building." YEEEAAAAAAH!
Somebody has to make that show!

It's actually alright. Just lacking in subtlety. The writers think that by making the phenomenon 'science-y' then that eliminates the need for mystery and ambiguity to curb viewer disbelief. The X-Files was such a success because most of the time the fantastical element is never fully revealed and the facts remain in question. Fringe just slaps you in the face and says "There's something fantastic, laid bare, no question - deal with it". To me that sort of spoils the fun. It's really only saved by the crazy old professor guy who's absolutely hilarious. I love Gillian too. As an adolescent I used to watch her on the show and then retreat to my bedroom for hours at a time. She made a man of me

He pretty much makes that show! But it also has a similar formula to Family Guy, don't you think? They tell alot of stories through amusing flashbacks that are often pretty unreal Still.. i love it too.
