Oh BTW, Chuck renewed for season 4 .. so no renovation-tension this year.. that means that they are not planing S3 ending as a "show-end" like "Chuck vs the ring" was

Great eps, but as far as "Game Changers" go, i think S2 finale was better.

A little annoyed that AGAIN the big bad gets trumped. Like, S1-2, we had Fulcrum, and then it was all "Fulcrum? Fuck fulcrum! The RING is where it's at" and now they look to be small fry as well.

S4 will be pretty awesome though.

ALSO! The Reboot, that was a little silly, as we the no explanation of how shaw didn't die.

Im certainly crazy, but it really sounded like her voice to me when she picked the phone.. but an interview with Fedack points that they are looking for the ideal woman to play chuck's mom, so its unlikely Mary did even a voice cameo.

Once again, I'm late to the party. I'm about halfway through season 1, and I've come to the conclusion that 1) Yvonne Strahovsky is insanely hot and 2) Adam Baldwin is an underrated comic genius.

I liked more the Die Hard references with Morgan..

tought it was clear something was going to go wrong in the end .. i was thinking the pistol would  fall or something...

Season 4 is going better than S3.. tought its clear they oriented more to light hearthed comedy than action and intrige like season 1 and 2.. i miss that..

Also.. seriously.. Chuck's mom has been 20 damn years undercover, totally destroyed her family life, horphaned 2 small children and left a husband ... 20 years and she still cant take out Volkof's network? I dont think any operation that big can afford a 20 year delay

S3 was focused and awesome. Shaw was a really good addition. Chucks Mum, not so much. I'm hoping now that Volcov is maybe out of the picture they can bring in a proper badie. Hell bring shaw back.

IMHO season 3 was clearly out of focus most of it.. it picked up past the first half.. and Shaw seemed like a nice character at fist.. then it just turned into

A bidimensional instant villain...  yes, i know that knowing the thruth about your beloved wife death can make one gp nuts.. but Shaw was like "im the number one loyal agent of the CIA and the main enemy of the Ring" .. then he figures out Sarah killed her wife under Graham orders and he just instantly becames evil and directly switches sides? Come on... that was lame beyond lame.
Also season 3 totally iditotify the villains.. as i said several times.. Fulcrum was badass.. the CIA feared them, they were assasins and eficient infiltrating and killing even civilians to no let any withness or simply making points.. they shot and get what they want later.. then in the last episode we learn that Fulcrum was just a small part of the Ring .. and then in S3 what we see? That the Ring is a group of useless agents that even Chuck can handle almost without the Intersec and will not shot you but will shot their own agents.. and later made worst with Volkof who seems even more dangerous than the Ring..

they toned down seriousness a lot in favor of light hearted comedy.. i guess that works for increasing audency wich is what the show needs to survive.

Still im not saying season 3 sucked.. it had great episodes ( like some of the later ones.. or Casey's "treason" )

I a reviving this thread for many reasons. One is that season four hasn't even been talked about. Another is the saeson finale just aired, and such leaves a lot of discussion open. Will NBC go for a fifth (possibly shit-tacular nerd-fest) season or end it with season four, where it was open-ended but satisfying at the same time?

I got wind of the news about a day after I posted that, if not less. Season five WILL be the real ending though, which more than satisfies me. Here's hoping the final season will be stellar.

For those who saw the finale to season four, this is for you to ponder/discuss/whatever.

The way the fourth season ended left me with a kinda Matrix/Adjustment Bureau kinda feeling. I mean, the whole "you don't know who's really controlling you" bit was ok to me, but I'm not sure how that'll effect the final season. It might go in a direction I'll enjoy or might go some place I won't like. Time will tell. Morgan's gaining the Intersect seemed kinda...iffy to me. The program was only meant for special individuals. It was seen in a few episodes that normal people didn't have capacities to handle it and suffered because of it. I just never saw Morgan as being Intersect compatible. I get that over the seasons more and more people could be chosen to gain the intersect, as it was seen in the episode with Old Spice Guy and that chick, and even "Agent X" AKA Volkoff but Morgan?
