You don't have to have the initials JH to be a time agent, but it helps...

I think that's more because they're championing it as a proper crossover rather than a separate-entity spinoff - the good Doctor in an episode or two would cement that. As far as the episode went, whilst I enjoyed it very much (John Barrowman, oh my yes) it did seem slightly cartoonish in the way it was presented. I'm not sure that that's a bad thing but certainly in Series 1 the really cracking episodes like Cyberwoman were the ones that were darker in subject matter and less obviously camping it up. We'll see how it goes

Heh heh, yeah; that was a good one. Hopefully, that's the writers sending a signal that they're going to tone down the interoffice humping this season - though based on all the 'flirting' going on in Ep 1, that's probably a vain hope. Ep 2... ...was somewhat of a letdown. It was part '24', part spy thriller, part emotional thing - and sadly, the sum of the parts didn't add up to that much. It wasn't horrific, but compared to last week (and seeing as the BBC put Ep 1 on before they showed Ep 2), it was a letdown. I dunno; there's next week, which looks interesting, but that's based on the trailer - so I'd say approach the actual episode with caution. :/

To The Last Man was what I'd describe as a mehpisode. A plot which once established goes absolutely nowhere to the end. Then once it gets to the end it brings out the deus ex machina machine which saves the day and does emotions and that. Then Tosh wanders off disillusioned with the entire human race because of this single experience. Whatever.

So is Martha taken over Owen? Seems like it. Freema done good in that episode. Encore. Bravo! Nah; she's only around for another two episodes after Reset. So I guess that means Owen somehow comes back from the dead by then. Or else they find a new cast member. 'Adam' was possibly the best episode of Torchwood made so far; it had a good story based on a good premise, managed to make good use of the 50 or so minutes that it had, and apart from one extra actor, did it with just the core cast, with a minimum of outside locations, and with no cameos or explosions or latex creations. (By which I mean monsters; get your mind out of the gutter. :P) 'Reset' was pretty good, too; special guest star, yes, but it didn't end up as 'The Martha Show'. Martha became a part of the crew, pure and simple. And yes, a nice big fat cliffhanger as well. Here's hoping that Torchwood has turned a corner, in terms of stories.

I'm not sure that the repeats mean anything, they are just trying to get a larger audience by showing a child-friendly version as well as the regular version.

Oh yeah, I forgot that it's on a week ahead on BBC3. I meant the BBC2 one with the travelling circus which made next to no sense.
