This movie is one of my all-time favorites.  The conversation between John Goodman, Steve Buschemi & Jeff Bridges at the bowling alley (just before "Walter" pulls his pistol) is a great one.

Actually, to be more specific, it's a still from 'The Story of the Kelly Gang', released in 1906 and regarded as the world's first feature length film.

You're right though, it is about Ned Kelly.
