Who's your favorite?  I listed some of classic action stars.  I wish I could've added more, but adding "other" should help.

Let's not forget:

Steve McQueen
Jackie Chan
Chow Yun-Fat
Vin Diesel
Harrison Ford
Brandon Lee
Bruce Lee
Jet Li
Dolph Lundgren
Mel Gibson
Clive Owen
Jason Statham
Keanu Reeves
Sean Connery
George Lazenby
Roger Moore
Timothy Dalton
Pierce Brosnan
Daniel Craig

Clive Owen's role in Shoot 'em Up was awesome.

My vote went to Clint as well, both for his westerns and Dirty Harry films.

I love all those Jackie Chan movies before he got Hollywood famous.  Rumble in the Bronx and Who Am I among my favorite movies.

I understand why many would vote for Clint as favorite action star, but I think that in the end Schwarzenegger did have a greater impact on the genre.

Not to mention that the Dirty Harry films are a bit more than just action films.

John Wayne could hardly walk winna...  :p

Tough choice between Willis and Eastwood, I mean Brucey is more hardcore but Clint does it with more style... wearing suits while blowing shit up/people away.

Gotta go with Clint; Dirty Harry is one of my all-time favorite movies.  "Do you feel lucky, PUNK?"

By the way, nice thread choice, fryfanSpyOrama!  I wish I'd thought of it...

Did you like Live Free and Die Hard?  I actually did.  It was a roller coaster ride that I haven't seen since an 80's action movie.

I saw the trailer Rambo, and I'm seeing it.  Even my friend is planning on seeing it and he hardly ever goes to see action films. Sylvester Stallone may be in his 60's but he looks bad ass in this new Rambo movie.
