Flight of the Conchords (HBO)

I don't come to this site very often anymore, but I'm bored, and I did, and I noticed there's no Conchords thread!?

Succh a good show. Basically, it's about these two guys, originally from New Zealand, now in New York who've made a "band". Don't wanna give too much away, the first episode should explain it, but they're always breaking into song, and they're hilarious.

They've just finished airing the first season. Anywho, it's on HBO in the US, it's on the movie network in Canada (On Demand is ideal), and I believe it's on a certain .co.uk site I'm not sure I'm allowed to mention. I suggest watching a couple episodes (preferably in order), they're great.

Also, the two members are in real life a parody band, but in the show they take their music seriousely. If you're familiar with their songs, it actually takes away from the show, makes it more anti-climactic, because they write their songs into the show, and thus when you hear them it's less spontanious.

I've been familiar with Flight of the Conchords for some time now (I'm sure a lot of the other down-under members here would be) and they're hilarious. I've only seen two episodes of their show, but what I saw was great and I definitely plan on checking out more episodes. I love when Bret gets replaced with a tape player.

Hey! I posted in the Test thread to see if this thread should exist! No one replied. Lurve this show. Watched all 12 of the eps in the corse of a week. I got them from a certain "mininova.org" site. Very funny, loved the "If thats what you're into" song. And the "Tape of love" song.

Love "the humans are dead", feel that the rest of it seesm to cater too much to humans.

Albi the racist dragon, Business Time, the list goes on. Only seen the first seven episodes thus far and I heard a second season was on the way but in 2009 because they need time to write songs. I must say thats a bit dissapointing especially if theres only going to be a season every now and then. It's like the two yeae hiatus between Curb season 5 and 6.

I am new to this show. I seen bits from BBC4 and thought to myself I have to watch the whole series so I went and bought Series 1 on DVD
