Egad, is there a movie I sort of want to see that Christian Bale isn't in?

Lesbian Vampire Killers

I posted about that earlier and I think I going to see this film because I starting to become a fan of James Cordon & Matthew Horne. (Looking forward to their TV show too.)

You've mistaken me for hojay again, Faze.

Still, Public Enemies looking pretty damn good.  It looks like Heat with Tommy guns and fedoras.

I dunno. But Slumdog Millionaire was shot with a similarity neat high-k digital cam called the SI-2K

Not sure if I really like it. Sure as hell simpler for filmmakers but it seems harsher and grainier than film gives with it's silky smooth look...

Yeah, it just sorta seems to... real. For movie set modern times it's not as bad, but i dunno, for something set back then, it feels odd. I don't feel like im in that time... I dunno, just feels weird.

Books I am truly glad that you are back from vacation so that you can post in this thread. I know it's your favorite :)

I have never seen Lilo and Stitch but I ordered it from Netflix I will let everyone know what I think :)

No, it isn't my favourite, but thanks anyway. I haven't Lilo and Stitch either. We don't get Netflix in Canada they are prejudice.
To keep things on-topic, an updated reposting of my anticipated 2009 list. (I just wondered why it is anti-cipated, would anti- mean you're the opposite of excited for it? Why not cipated? Anyways...)

Haven't heard of The Road or Moon, but the rest sound like my hopes for the year as well. And, according to Wikipedia, Dev Patel is replacing Jesse McCartney as Prince Zuko in the Avatar The Last Airbender movie, which gives me some hope for it.

I really just have one friend who is as into movies as me, not as, almost as.
I haven't been this excited for movies since.. Casino Royale. I can't stand thinking about movies that I want to see because their release dates are still too far away, except Watchmen, they're showing that on Friday.

Wait a minute... it almost sounds like you don't want to see Liam Neeson hitting people over and over again in the face?! :hmpf:
If Luc Besson is on board, I am!

Also, Marvel movie releases over the next few years:

I'd watch it, sure... just seems kinda redundant is all.

Iron Man 2 - awesome.
Thor - could be alright if they focus more on Norse mythology than Marvel mythology.
The Avengers - I just hope Edward Norton is in it as The Hulk.
...But mostly SPIDERMAN 4!! Wicked. I say they should tackle the clone saga - I wanna see Scarlet Spider on the big screen.

Agreed on the Iron Man. spider-man 4 can't be worse than #3 so I'm looking forward to that.
Not entirely sure what the avengers is but I see it has something to do with iron man, and I loved the end of the incredible hulk and edward norton is great in it.

Now that I've seen watchmen I can't wait for Star Trek, but I think X-men is coming out sooner so I want to not be able to wait for that because, as I said, it comes out sooner ( I think ) than star trek, which WILL be THE BEST!

Avengers is like the Marvel Comics equivalent of DC's Justice League. It's a team of Superheroes comprising of Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, and... a constantly changing group of others. They're dorky, but not as dorky as the Fantastic Four.

Also, do you mean Wolverine? I'm a bit meh about that. I don't think the character's interesting enough on his own to carry a movie.

But yes - STARTREKGASM!!! :D

About X-men, I'm not even sure if I ever saw the first movie, definetely the second once and the third I saw a few times. I like wolverine enough, and I don't remember hugh jackman disappoint.
