I've only seen one episode of Space 1999 and I really enjoyed it so I've created a thread to talk about it. (If you know any good websites please tell me)

I saw it when it was repeated on BBC2 in the '90s, the first series was pretty cool but it went down hill somewhat in the second.

It was made in the '70s, BBC2 repeated it in the '90s though.

Yeah, after Star Wars was such a big hit in '77, everyone was scrambling to produce science fiction stuff.  Space 1999 was part of the rush.

Space 1999 was in such a rush that it was made in 1975, two years before Star Wars came out  :p

Once I saw the beginning of an episode But I don't know what happened at the end. It was the one with this rock that kept changing colours and it absorbed water, does anyone know what happened at the end?
