Hmmm, pretty sure Ben didn't destroy mankind.  Besides, you don't exactly think "hey Im going to blow up an entire boat if I kill this dude" when you are filled with rage and anger because of the death of someone you love.  How the hell can you argue against this.  Unless you have been in a somewhat similar situation, you would have no idea what it feels like.

Dude he risked having her killed by saying she means nothing to her. He bluffed when his own daughter was on the line. He killed half of his people including his father which under the circumstances is not in anyway justifiable, he then shot Locke into a ditch because he feared his leadership was comprimized on top of that all the while claiming he doesn't kill innocent people to Michael. The arguments are endless. He's a terrible person but an incredibly compelling character. It's indesputable.

Some people say that in the helicopter Sawyer says

"I have a daughter in Albuquerque"
"You need to find her"
"Tell her im sorry".

Chay, anyone chasing after his wife would probably run to the end of the boat.  He knew about the bomb, theres a good chance he jumped off the boat too, which makes it possible to survive.

The pressure wave would likely burst eardrums and lungs (unless the island doesn't let certain people die)

You're clutching at straws now amy. That's the corner of the boat and a red flare from the 'splosion. The first pic i posted, Jin has stopped running. a second later BOOM!

Yeah, we do. I'm pretty sure it'd be almost all the same ones. I don't think Podcasts differ from iTunes store to iTunes store the way songs do.

I want Jin to survive too, Jin's awesome:

There was about 27 seconds between when we saw Jin waving on the deck to when the explosion actually explodenated!
And on the CGI boat I couldn't 100% make out any of the people that were in the previous real-boat shot.  :p

He was really close to the end of the boat, I'm suprised he didn't just jump off the end.

Onr of the more stupid deaths that Lost has had... although Charlie's was probably just a little more retarded.

Charlie's death at least accomplished something. I'd say it was the most relevant death since Boone's

Charlie's death accomplished el zilcho.

-He did it to get everyone off the island.

Due to him the freighter people got on the island, killed people then proceeded to blow up a boat with other people on it. (Daniel, Alex, Karl(Screw him), Jin(most likely).  :(
Plus the people he did get off the island will now try and get back. Useless

-He did it for Claire

He did it to get Claire off the island. For all we know she might be dead because of him(freighter bastards). His soul is going CRAP, CRAP, CRAP!

Charlie's actions allowed Penny to talk to Desmond which she said was the reason why her boat found the 6 (+2) in the life raft, whichout which they surely would have perished.

So... kinda important, I'd say.

Something else i just thought of. We can bitch and moan about what WE saw, but i'm pretty sure Sun wouldn't have taken her eyes of Jin, and her reaction to the explosion says a lot...

Also, if we want to get really pedantic, the helicopter starts to go around the boat and at this stage jin does continue to follow which is a bit of and J shape, so he kinds starts to double back.

Time will tell!!!

I have seen a clip (maybe of another thing with her) and it is fantastic, capital knockers.    :flirt:
According to IMDB she also did the voice of one of the pedestrians in GTA San Andreas... wtf?

Juliet also got the milkbags out in a scene with none other than Angelina Jolie.

I cant find a picture, but I wasn't looking too hard.  If you watch any of the episodes, you'll see them.

Also the guy who played Boone was in a few episodes and he gets naked too.

Urghhh you're all tainting my Losht experience!!

Anyway the finale aired here last night, so I rewatched it for the third time with my housemate trying desperately not to answer her hundreds of questions and speculation until the ad breaks or until the end. Was good to get more "OMG" moments out of someone else  :)

Anyway, pending questions:

What is going on with Claire??? Is she dead? If not, why is she working with Christian/Jacob? Just a general wtf is going on with Claire right now...

I need to go back to the start, because would all of this even have happened if the plane hadn't have crashed? We flashback to some of the characters childhoods, like Locke, so it leads me to suspect that the crash of the flight was intentional so that these characters could play a part in the island's existence. Right?

Is Jacob a supernatural being? Who represents himself through various dead people only?

Some random bits:

We know they are doing experiments with space and time stuff. I think that the guy that Locke met who was chopping wood, the same tree three times, was caught in some sort of time loop when the "incident" happened.

Also, remember from season 1 or 2 the leader-type black woman in the fake village? What ever happened to her?

Her name was Beatrice or "Bea" and she was shot and killed by Mikal at the Flame Station when Sayid, Kate, and Locke tried to capture her.

Like about 90% of the Other's staff, she's dead:

.

The Others seem to have this reverse redshirt syndrome thing going on, where if you get a speaking role, you die.

So, about a month ago I had surgery and had a few weeks off work. My friend lent me the first season of Lost to pass the time. I'd seen a few random episodes before (The Season 1 finale, both of Mr. Eko's flashback eppys in Season 2) and had liked what I saw, but had wanted to see the show from the beginning. Well, after finishing Season 1 in a matter of days, I immediately bought all the DVD's. I just finished Season 4 a few minutes ago, and... Holy SHIT. Damn, this show knows how to do a completely amazing season finale! I know I only jumped on the bandwagon a few weeks ago, but yeah, I'm officially giving Lost the title of "Best television show not called Arrested Development."

It's gonna be hard when Season 5 starts, though... I know the biggest complaint about the show is the pace, and I'm gonna have to get used to not watching 13 episodes in one day.   :p

I suppose thats one of the hardest things to adjust to about LOST. Watching the first two seasons and first six episodes of LOST in a row was great but when I realised how many months it was going to be before the next episode it was torture. This resulted in waiting another eight months for more LOST now followed by the present, waiting another eight months for more LOST...

FUCK!

  :(

So, anyway, officially joining in the Lost discussion now, there's still a chance Jin (and most likely Dan) are alive. Hell, Season 1 ended the same way with them being blown up in the ass-middle of the ocean with seemingly no way to get back, and they made it out of that. Maybe this is just me being optimistic though... Dan and Jin are awesome. Jin dying there wouldn't be such a bummer to me 'cause he's served his purpose in the show and it'd be a kinda poetic way for him to go, but I still wanna know the deal with Dan. They'd better not pull another Libby on us and kill off a main character without explaining their backstory at all! I hope Michael died though, he was a douchetard.

Also, I think there's a good chance Claire might still be alive too. Didn't Desmond say a helicopter was going to get her off the island in the future? All his other visions turned out to be true, that'd be kinda jerky if they just flat-out forgot about that one. Then again, I'm pretty sure Desmond said she'd be getting off the island with Aaron, and we all know that's not happening... Unless this is waaayyy in the future after (presumably) The Oceanic 6 return. Also, Ben said they ALL had to go back. Does this include Desmond, too?

Anyway, Season 5's definitely gonna be interesting. I can see the show being a LOT different now that Locke, Sawyer, Rose, Bernard, Claire, The Others and the Freighties are the only ones remaining on the island (did I leave anyone out there?). Plus, a lot of the important events now look as if they're going to happen 3 years in the future (ie. the present) if Jack's future/current goal is to get everyone back on the island. Are they gonna skip forward 3 years and fill in the missing pieces in flashbacks, or keep going as normal in the timeline, continuing that plot in flash-forwards? I could honestly see them going either way with it.

Lost makes my brain hurt. And my pants sticky.
