Has there already been some speculation on Jack and Kate? I'm thinking Luke and Leia here, if you know what I mean. Or perhaps Kate will get married to Jack's dad. Crappy ideas, I know, but they are twists that wouldn't surprise me

Sooooo... I'm up to speed. Finale finally aired last night here in Aus. So many questions! I have read back over the last page or so...
I do think that Charlie could have slipped thru the door and locked it from the outside to save himself and Des together. But my main problem is that I thought after he turned the Flashing Yellow Light off that the place will flood - and it didn't? Wasn't that what he was told would happen? They were just dawdling about and Charlie was speaking to Penny (which brings me to ask how did she have such an immediate direct line?? Where was she? An office?) He could have prepared himself with scuba gear first before entering the Good Vibrations code... wouldn't that have been smarter?
Why does Locke just walk off behind the Radio Tower after having his say? He doesnt' really fight his arguement with Jack further...
Of course, who is Naomi really? Who is she working for?
YAY the other three weren't killed! Relief. Nice one Hurley on saving everyone haha. That's the way to fight back... poor guy...
Sawyer shooting Tom in cold blood. True, I wouldn't have believed him either. It's something they haven't learned until now, they keep capturing eachother but eventually get free and fight back and screw everything up. Just kill 'em! Bam. Sawyer had the right idea here.
heh Walt is a teenager.. boooo.. Where's he been all season?
How did Locke rewake and, I suppose, heal? Is this the island's "magic" fast healing powers at work?
Who is Jacob? This spirit/being thing that only speaks to Locke... I read the Theory on the last page about Destiny etc etc... But really, there's got to be another theory.
Has Juliet stopped flipping sides and is actually one of them now? No longer an Other?
Why is Ben constantly hiding secrets. If he wants to convince everyone/Jack to leave the island alone, why not just tell him why and have it done? Even as he's so close to being killed he still refuses to divulge further details. JUST TELL ME damnit.
Oh man, how bad is that fake beard?? Nice going being trashed on alco/drugs all the time too heh. I agree with the red herring father references... i mean, yeah we find out at the end it's all flash forward.
Who is the father of his ex-wife's baby? She's all preggos!
ok that's it for now.

^ HAHA, @Niny, The charlie/flood thing. I think Des says, "Light goes out, room fills with water" Which does happen, plus i think once they'd killed everyone down there, they thought they'd changed things, but then when charlie saw Mikhial out the window he knew what he had to do. Locke walks off cause it's what he does. to quote "DON'T TELL ME WHAT I CAN'T DO!!!" Naomi i think is from Dharma MkII or something. I like tom, even though he was a bit of an ass, but well done sawyer. Walt wasn't really there i don't think, probably FSM playing tricks again. We won't find out who the hell jacob is for ages I'm sure. I'm pretty sure Juliet is no a non-other, but i'm sure the others have disbanded now. Ben's just a whiney bitch, who likes power/keeping secrets. Or he knows awesome stuff that would melt peoples brains. I liked the flash forward, but who's funeral was it? The father was that insignificant person who jack eventually tracked down in a previous episode i'm sure. Phew, did i miss anything Nins? EDIT: Yes i did! LOST: The gameAnd not that crappy board/card game! A real X360, PS3, PC game!

From the Comic Con’s Thursday afternoon “Lost” panel with showrunners Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse, cobbled from various reports: * Season four will feature both flashbacks and flashforwards. (Note that Herc’s longstanding plea that some episodes eliminate flashbacks was finally answered with the flashback-free third-season finale.)
* We will learn how Ben Linus came to fall into Henry Gale’s trap.
* At least one whole episode will follow Jack and Kate’s adventures away from Dharma Island.
* Harold Perrineau arrives. The plan was always to bring Michael back, is the claim.
* Richard Alpert “may” get limited screen time, as Nestor “Batmanuel” Carbonnel is now a regular on CBS’ Cuban-American nighttime soap “Cane.”
* The story of Hurley’s girl, Libby, will be told in season four. Apparently one wouldn’t be “barking up the wrong tree” to suggest a connection with Dharma Island.
* Rousseau will likely get a flashback in seasons four or five.
* The session ended with a new Dharma orientation film. It’s for the “Orchid Station.” The man who identified himself in previous Dharma media as Mark Wickmund and Marvin Candle now calls himself “Edward Allawitz.” Allawitz apologizes for deceiving people with regard to the nature of the station’s research, which does not concern botany. Allawitz holds up a rabbit marked “15.” A nearby shelf is marked “16.” A small earthquake ensues. End of film.
ABC launches the 16-episode fourth season of "Lost" early next year.

Didn't he relay the information to the two girls in the underground station when they were quizzing eachother about how to turn off the flashing yellow light? They looked at eachother when he confirmed the place would flood, right? That's from my memory... need to rewatch... I felt like they knew if they ever turned it off it would be suicide also. Hey, so what did those girls eat down there?? Where did they get their supplies? Just curious. Also... while we're on teh subject of non-Walt, where do you think he really went? I can't remember what happened to his dad either - refresh me? Didn't he get off the island? I wonder how successful those raft/boats ended up leaving? Will Sun get to keep the baby? Or will she end up losing it like the rest of the women previously?

well, we may not find out, they usually die in the 3rd or 4th quarter of pregnancy? and she was only a few weeks pregnant. And in 3 seasons it only 2 months time past?
Walt and Michael left on a boat, Michael is confirmed as coming back this next season, as probably said in Otis's post (Haven't read it yet).
Re: Charlie, Meh, des's vision wasn't too specific, i think at first charlie though it would be the whole place, but once Des went down with him, and he was in the room, and the situation arose, saving des and killing himself was the only option?

Haha "baba Ram Dass" Richard Alpert? The guy who ate acid with Timothy Leary in the 60's? I recall he was also in one or more episodes of Six Feet Under

No, it's Batmanuel!! He's no IMDB entries for Six Feet Under. Hopefully he'll be Hamilton Hill in The Dark Knight, that they don't make up some silly Mayors name.

Go Locke!Terry O'Quinn of "Lost" and Jeremy Piven of "Entourage" were honored with supporting acting honors at Sunday's Emmy Awards.
"Sometimes when we're rolling around in the jungle in the mud, hitting each other and stabbing each other, I wonder what it would be like to bake up a sheet of cookies on Wisteria Lane and get one of their checks," O'Quinn said, referring to "Desperate Housewives."
"Then I think about my castmates and crewmates, and I realize why I have the best job in the world," said O'Quinn, whose award came in a resurgent creative season for the drama.
