Okey there have probably been dozens of thes threads but I'm trying to put a spin on this one. What is your favorite film in a catagory of your choice? here are a few examples:

Fave Sci-fi film: Blade Runner
Fave Epic film:Gladiator.
Fave Jim Carrey film ( not really much choice here): The Truman Show.

If I'm not clear here yell at me some and I'll try better.

True, but I'd say Sphere had a much higher book-to-movie ratio (coolness of book/coolness of movie=high) than Jurassic.  The b-t-m ratio of The Lost World: Jurassic Park is also pretty high, the saving grace was the T-Rex rampage in San Diego.

By the way...Favorite film with a T-Rex rampage: The Lost World: Jurassic Park.  I have yet to confirm this, but it's rumored that a Japanese business man being chased by the rex says, "I moved here to get away from this!"

I didn't mean to sound like I was disagreeing.  Quite the contrary, actually.  I ejoyed the book more than the film too.  I was merely expressing how disappointed I was with the Sphere movie in comparison to the book (same with Lost World).  Sort of a "good idea, let me try that"-type thing, not a personal attack or disagreement.
