Originally posted by Dai: Never heard of it Well, it was a late-60s show situated in a German WWII POW-camp. Some of the prisoners (the main characters) support the Resistance, spy for the Allies and help people to escape from Germany. They also help the commander of the camp in several situations, as their work would be impossible without his stupidity. There's even a Wikipedia article about it and some fan sites. The show is good for quite a lot of laughs, but the plot is always rather shallow. One thing that makes it hilariously funny is - in my opinion - the fact that the German camp commander and the guards ("Schuuuuuultz!" ) can't prevent the prisoners' obvious activities. I only know the German dubbed version and the voices of the Germans are just great. Everyone has a different, heavy accent (Klink has a Saxon accent, Schultz a Bavarian, Burkhalter a Vienna-style accent and so on) and this is good for some laughs, too. (Schultz: "Oh, mei! Des was i da sig, des schaut ma wieder mal so aus, dass i da besser garrrr nix sig!" *lol*) I hope they'll air the complete series once again so I can record them.

Sure, Mr. Bean always running that Reliant Regal off the road is slapstick. Mr. Bean is just as intellectual as 'Futurama', except for the fact that 'Futurama' has more nerdy references and the option to use audio. Mr. Bean is merely a silent comedy.

"I'm Jeremy Kyle, AND YOU'RE SCUM!" Yeah, they are funny, but the full impact is lost on me as I have only seen clips of the jeremy kyle show. I think the best visual comedy character is his ozzy osbourne, have you seen the utterly butterly ads? Hogan's heroes sounds good, it's yet another comedy I've got to try and get around to watching! I agree that mr bean is clever, but in a totally different way to futurama, mr bean would be more difficult to write for I would have thought. Oh and mookie is right, it is a mini! If anyone knows the answer, spoilers are in order! Colonel Henry Blake was killed when his chopper was shot down over the Sea Of Japan as he was going home. This was done because NcLean Stevenson (Henry Blake) was so despised by management and the other actors that they killed him off so there would be no way to ever bring him back to the series. (After that, if a major character was killed off in a series, it was said that they were 'McLeaned'.) So much angry fan mail was sent to the show that the producers publicly vowed that a major character would never be killed off the show again.
Even though it wasn't mentioned in the series, it was in After-MASH - Radar did make it home and was doing well as head of the family on the farm.

Futurama Simpsons South Park Greenwing Malcolm In The Middle And also I agree with Xanfor, Red Dwarf may not be one of my favourite comedies but it is sure of hell funny!!! Kryton is such a hillarious robot I find it funny when he treats Lister like a baby and says "Want another slurp of tea"

Ok, RS 2thou. For one, my name isn't from a Star Trek character. See my avatar. Two, Red Dwarf is one of your favorite comedies. That automatically makes you my friend, aka, a nerd. @Dai: Look, I have an IQ of six thousand, you know! For example, instead of coming to PEEL today, I could have rediscovered the theory of quantum mechanics. Or instead of typing that just now, I could have rewritten Hamlet and made it really good. Even so, I still have yet to find the word 'subtlety' in any of my previous posts.

yeah, but since "subtile" isn't a word, I could only assume that you meant "subtle", typing an "i" accidently. Also, I have a higher IQ than you... loser
