Yeah, Elle is totally there.... but old woman Patrelli is trying to put a quash in that shizzle.

On top of that wu, what's up with Hiro not picking the easiest thing to do... Ie go back to 5 minutes ago and fix the problem that happened before it even occurred?

I think Ando said something like "but what if you get stuck in the past again?" which kinda covers that angle of him hopping back and forth all the time on a whim.

also, hurr hurr at Hiro's father on DVD.

Didn't she lie and say she had come all the way from South America in the episode?

Also... he was clearly playing with time while sitting in his office being bored.... remember the clock?  Your explanation is good enough though, I just don't remember when they said something like that.  I also thought it a little silly when he went forward..... I mean, what did he actually expect to see?  The answer was just going to be sitting right there in front of him?

"Hiro, I'm a painting painted by someone who has the power to paint paintings in the exact position and time for time travellers to see to give them clues about what they should explicitly do next and I'm here to tell you thatal;;;faAgghhh,thebadguyisrightnowkilllin............."

Either he's just having too much fun with his new "quest," playing Batman and Catwoman with his "nemesis," or else some of Peter's super-stupidity must have rubbed off on him.

I'm not even sure why wu asked that question.

I actually watched part of the pre-show, and it fits in with their picks of who shot Nathan Patrelli....  Could Claire have done it to get revenge on her biological father?  Yeah... if the writers are retarded.

And you're pretty much right about your statement with Hiro, David... well unless what Ninaka said is actually true.  He wants to play "quest" so much that he's not realizing the danger of not just fixing the problem in the first place... I mean seriously, he almost died instantly from that car thing, if he'd have travelled any further into the future, he would have been dead instantly.... Oops, no more time travelling!  I suppose if things get screwed up royally, he can always go back and fix everything, assuming he's still alive.

Lastly, what's the deal with future Peter trying to make a string map to evaluate the timeline?  Does he really have any information of the current timeline he's on to do that with?  Looks kind of like just repeating something to make it look like he's doing important stuff....  I mean with future Hiro it made sense.... he had all the information, he just needed to actually put all the pieces together and determine which action would be the most beneficial..... future Peter on the other hand already did what he came to do.

Presumably he picked it up from someone he met in the five years between now and when he came back in time.  It may even be foreshadowing the power of a yet to be introduced character.

That's what I figured... the real question is does Peter have the powers of the body he's in now, and where is the guy that he's renting body space from?  Also, what was that guy's power?  Seriously, that's what you get on Level 5.

Well on the Hiro thing. He did say he would no longer travel into the past as he felt he made abit too much of a mess there the last time he did it. Maybe he figured out the butterfly effect all by himself.

Also back in season one. Future Hiro did say that crossing his own time line could really really mess up the whole space time continum and Hiro being a bit of a geek may have known this with out being told.

I totally understand that wu.... and it doesn't take much thought to realize how the 'butteryfly effect' works, and the consequences of one's actions.  However, we're talking about what basically would have amounted to a few minutes; no one would notice the timeline change, and given what Hiro was doing in his office while he was bored, it's not too far-fetched for him to put the powers he's already using to good use.  It's a lot different from what future Peter did, which was try and go back in time several years and change one little thing to create a totally different outcome; on top of that, he meddled with the timeline he altered after that too (by talking to Claire).

Isn't that what last season was Nixorbo?  Boring....

Also, they're totally going to use the word 'Butterfly Effect' a kajillion times now... like it's some inherantly new concept they have to explain to the viewers every 5 minutes.  I can totally see it.

It might be that the speedster was actually waiting for Hiro (any Hiro) to open the safe and just snatch it away from him anyway.

Not to mention that a future Hiro taking it might casue a paradox. Then again I am really not sure how the physics of time travel  in Heroes. I have a feeling that when Hrio travels outside of time and is thus not affected by the changes. That would explain why Hrio can travel to the future and see himself (else when Hiro travels to the future, there is no certainty that he will go back and survive to become the future Hiro). Maybe it is not time travel at all but something similar to Sliders and Hiro is traveling to a universe where the events have already occured.

that or the writers just did a misstep.

edit
and the second series did jave Peter going to the outbreak future, where he also left that girl...I wonder what happened to her.

Oh yeah.  You got me, I totally forgot about that storyline... I guess we've all forgot about Irish lass now too.

Also, no Nixorbo, the first season was about preventing a horrible future.

Ummm... I'm beginning to think again that the writers think they're writing for retarded children drinking ebola infected chocolate milk while their genitals are covered with feral bees.  There are probably like bunches of plotholes... but whatever, it's entertaining, and the special effects are pretty damn good.

No, beads.

Wu: Hiro didn't really need to travel into the past; he just needed to rewind time a bit, like he was doing with the clock.  Instead of complaining that Ando didn't look behind the Mona Lisa, he could have reversed time for a few seconds and took the formula before Daphne went to get it.

Nix: It's a show with characters who can travel through time, characters who can paint the future, and apparently a character who dreams the future.  What did you expect?

Hiro really needs to stop arguing with Ando when he should be doing things instead.

Meredith's power protects her from asphyxiation as well as heat.  Interesting.

Future Peter is even stupider than regular Peter, if that's possible.

So much for the whole "villians escape from level 5" storyline.  That almost lasted a whole episode.

Noah wants to figure out how to kill Sylar?  He should talk to Hiro about that.  I bet he'd have some ideas.

david, I thought we already knew that about Meredith since she supposedly died in a fire.

Also, how old does Claire need to be to stop getting old?  Adam looks 30ish.

And, if she can survive asphyxiation, could she live underwater?  What about in space?  If she doesn't need the air to live, I think she could become a much more formidable opponent.

I never considered the fact that she'd need air to survive, because the bitch can't die. But that made me think....what if you chop her into thousands of pieces and send her body parts to different parts of the world. Still alive?

david, I thought we already knew that about Meredith since she supposedly died in a fire.

I guess so.  I just think it's interesting that Claire, who can't actually die from asphyxiation either, was gasping for air, but Meredith didn't seem to be at all bothered by the lack of oxygen.

Quote
Also, how old does Claire need to be to stop getting old?  Adam looks 30ish.

He was already that old when he got his powers.  Probably they stop aging at whatever age they're at when they get the powers.

Are we talking about Claire or Meredith now?
