The most likely canidates for not surviving are Niki and West. Niki will probably die trying to save Monica. West will probably die trying to protect Claire. If they don't survive, I won't be crying. Especially the West part. I can't stand him at all. The only characters I don't want to die are Hiro, Ando, Matt, Suresh, The Haitian, HRG, Adam, Sylar, and Claude (who's remained missing for this entire season). For the rest, I don't care too much one way or the other.

Agreed that Mohinder's been a gullible moron this season. He wasn't so much for last season and the first part of this one. I would say, "Let's just watch the next episode to decide whether or not he should die," but the next episode is the last of this season.

Well, it's over. My thoughts, in alphabetical order... episode was a bit scattered as they struggled to get every character in and every storyline to some climax.. but pretty good overall. Adam:Overall seems a bit dull now, like the actor isn't sure how to play 400 years of festering resentment... Claire:Meh, the whole "lets reveal it all!" thing doesn't sound like such a great plan to me. Elle: just a emotional wreck desperate for daddy's approval? They need to do find something better to do with her character in season 3... Hiro: good stuff... but burying kensei alive is a decision Hiro will come to regret. You don't bury an immortal alive, you just postpone dealing with them until they're even crazier than they already are. HRG: meh. Selling out for the fam... he'll of course use the position to betray the company again eventually. Maya: I still just don't really care. Micha: I still love a technopath, and he seems to be developing his powers quite well. Mohinder: Heroes' "Gilligan," always messing everything up... Monica: That'll teach you not to watch vids on escaping from all kinds of bad situations before charging into one. Nathan: See: comments on Claire. Like father like daughter, I guess. Nikki/whaddevah: Shades of heroic, DL's memory, yadda yadda. I don't think she'll die. Parkman: Gettin' better with the powers, it seems... but he comes off as follower. Peter: Man, is he impressionable. Keep him away from the Home Shopping Network. Sylar: About time. Neutered Sylar got old fast. West: I still say he's evil.

I thought that Hiro was going to take Adam with him back to Imperial Japan.
This wasn't an excellent finale for the Volume. It didn't really wrap up anything like "How to Stop..." did for Volume 1. Also, unfortunately unlike "How to Stop..." again, "Powerless"'s Volume 3 cliffhanger didn't set up anything that we didn't know. In "How to Stop...", Hiro finds himself in Imperial Japan. In "Powerless", we find out that Sylar gets his powers back, even though we could kind of assume that.

So only 11 episodes, until when..? Cos of the writer strike, right? Is that why there's no House MD on tonight either?

In my opinion, there's only a few people who could've shot Nathan: Personally, I think Mr. Petrelli would be the most interesting.

I think that's the exact reason why it would be so interesting. We've dealt with a few of the characters' parents before, and it would be very interesting to see who Mr. Petrelli really is and if he is, in fact, dead.
Also, I hope that Adam will be back next Volume. If the next volume's title is "Villains", Adam, the villian, of sorts, of Volume 2, most certainly must return somehow. I think it'd be interesting if Sylar and/or a new villian came about which threatened the heroes so much that they had to turn to Adam for aide. I always liked the idea of a villian teaming up with the heroes one time, only to return again to his evil. In the same vein, I'd think it'd be interesting if a hero switched sides to help a villian sometime in the future. The whole dynamic of "oh, I'm good, I don't want to do wrong" is getting a little boring. We need a hero to go to the dark side to spice things up. Sure, Peter aided Adam, but he really had no idea what Adam had up his sleeve. Damn am I mad that Adam was evil and not West.
Also, I want more Hiro and Sylar next season. Sure, part of episodes were devoted to Hiro, but he was stuck in Imperial Japan in a story that took way too long to be told. Sylar was stuck with the Wonder Twins for all of the volume. In addition, I'd like to see the return of Volume 1 characters, like Claude, and the fleshing out of Volume 2 characters, like Nana and Monica. I could care less for Maya, though.

Nice m0le, nice.
Season 2 was nowhere near the quality of Season 1. Hopefully 3 will be better.

I've been watching the pre-premier "countdown" party online, showing sneak peaks and interviews. I can see the video is 37 mins long, so they aren't fooling me each time they say the new episode is "only minutes away!".. shut up, no it's not!!
By the way, YAY can't wait to see the ep tonight.
