I like the episodes where Peter saves Claire and Hiro meet the girl of his dream at the cafe bar. So cute

I second that Wow.

Heroes has truly become my new favorite drama.  I still love 24 and Lost just as much, but I now watch Heroes right when it comes on and tivo 24 for later.  ( I used to do the opposite.)

My only problem with the show is budget constraints.  But thats only because I wanted to see more of those badass fights. Hell, I wouldn't mind if for a DVD extra they gave us just the storyboards for the full fights.

Being an animation major with a visual effects minor, I tend to notice bad FX in tv and movies more than usual, like the bad compositing job at the bomb site.  But I guess they cant give them all the money and time they want to work on the show.

They'll save that for the second season when they have to fight Galactus and Omicon.

Also for those who don't know about it, IGN has a Comparison article between Heroes Characters and well know comic book characters with similar powers. http://tv.ign.com/articles/781/781461p1.html

Agent Rodriquez, although Heroes has become a huge hit, its still in its first season.  Of course they could improve on visual effects and such, but they were probably had a buget set that couldnt get it in this season.  With the popularity of the show, I think its pretty likely that in new seasons all of those things will improve.  Not that they are the worse Ive seen, but I know exactly what you are talking about with the NYC crowd.

Just look at South Park, that went from cardboard cutout type things to cardboard cutout type things on the computer.

@IC, you were thinking that because we already knew that.  Peter had a vision... ooh you know what, maybe thats his moms power, thats why he can do that!  Uh anyways, I think the point is that Hiro and Ando dont know that by killing Sylar they wont be stopping the bomb.

Slackit02,  I understand that, it's just a bit of wishful thinking on my part.  The FX has been amazing for a tv series about people with superpowers. To be able to pull off what they have done so far in a first season is just awsome. I mean 24 is able to have huge gun battles, but they can use all practial and real world equipment.  It would be very difficult for them to pull off a full on Peter vs Sylar fight.  The special effects for that would be insane and would take forever to do. (But you know we would all love to see it)

Linderman appeared at the end of 18.

Seriously, has anyone else noticed the weird blurring effect in some scenes but not others?  :hmpf:

The Haitian didn't take all his memories of her, that wouldn't have served any useful purpose. He only took anything that would directly lead the company to her. He wanted to go look for her almost right away.

OHhhh of course. Got it   :)

What gets me is that why do they consistantly call him "The Haitian"? Doesn't he have a name?? I find it weird that in they can't refer to him by name, or whatever... He looks like an Alan.  :laff:

An Alan from Haiti?  Interesting....

I think its because his power is so mysterious.  He can erase memories, and also block powers.  So not knowing his name makes him more mysterious.

OK, has Heroes become a whole lot cheesier lately, or is the fact that Lost is getting good again just make it seem that way?

I wouldnt say that it is cheesier, just not as intense.  Actually, I would say predictable.

Definitely less intense. And Hiro getting sword fighting lessons from his dad was kinda cheesy. But it's still been good. Some of the major character deaths took me by surprise. It doesn't feel climactic enough to be the end, though. The finale better be exciting!

well its not really the end just the end of the season, whic i think may be the reason that its not as intense as it was. they were showing each new episode like they were coming to the end of the seires having the explosion be the end of the show, but now that its been clearly said that its just the end of the season its not as exciting. kinda like when 24 came out i remeber fox saying that the first season was going to be the only season at once

just how they advertised it how they kept sayin its the end in like every comercial. they also would say that it was the climax to the years biggest story or what have you so it seemed kida like it was suppose to be a one season thing and mabey it would come back
