Haha, they're all weirdos.

And Martin, I think his name is, 3rd from the left, looks completely different.
Big bags under his eyes... not the most flattering of shots.

Seen the latest ad for the series, "wake up, or the kitty gets it!"  Channel 4 are bigging up the return of Green Wing, hope it lives up to it.

I missed it, but read the review in the Times - it got slated! I'll admit, I haven't seen the series properly (in fact, oddly enough, you were there both times Wayne - in Driff and on the plane) but enjoyed it those times, so I can't really see how it could go downhill quite so quickly.

Wish you'd resize that pic Jules.

I've got an open mind as to what it's going to be like, I know that not everyone's gonna like it, but I do and I still love watching the 1st series.

This show was nuts i do remeber watching it last year, i thought it may never come back nice to see it return, my only complaint was that it was to long was about an hour inc ads, i duno it just felt stretched when in an hour, i also remember the anoying speed up and slowed down shots that happned after every scene, i really hated them heh,

This show was just nuts tho, very "sexual" in some ways but very funny, looking forward to it.

i certainly have high hopes for it, although it was described as a 'one series show' when the first series was airing, though from the adverts i've seen it looks as madcap and hilarious as ever

roll on friday!

This is one of the shows that really makes me regret not having a TV. But Channel 4 usually get their DVDs out right after a show ends, so I'll probably be watching it then. Can't wait, I loved the first one.

Oh the first episode was great the bits that I like:

Love the first spacey bit

Like the bit where Mac was in Take That

Guy's hair

Martin is adorable. Bless him.

Sue White is nuts as ever.

And oh my god Nick Frost is in it

Great first episode, was kinda annoying that they never reveal what happens at the cliff.  In time they will.

Mac's "Sparks" dream with Alan Statham as Ron Mael, was too hilarious for words.

They said something about him knocking himself unconscious... And oh no, he lost his memory!!

But anyway... I loved Alan playing table tennis with the unconscious Mac (and drawing on his face, then blaming it on a Ping Pong Person!), the dream sequences, and "My Daddy died last night...". And the box of flies with the taped message...  :laff:

And was anyone else reminded of The Sting in any way, or was that just me?

My best bits from Series 2 episode 2

Alan with his pants down
Joann kissed the bloke who came out of the smoking room when she needs a fag
Alan on the phone
Sue and Mac the odd couple
“You still a wanker, Yes and I have my cock in your eye”
Alan is fucking great

Hey I've seen the first two episodes and I forgot to post!

So funny. So very very wacky, random and funny. *sigh*...

My favourite bit so far was the 'Spoon of Destiny'.   :laff: And the box of flies... "Haha!! You weren't expecting that, were you? Hundreds and hundreds of flies!"

And Juliet, I'm Karen too!
8% obnoxiousness, 28% clumsiness, 36% weirdness, 88% loveability

Edit: What the hell am I on about? I already posted about the first episode... Ah well...

"Oh yes, sex, with Dr. Todd"

"You're on intercom, and i'm with two inspectors AND Dr. Todd"

He is priceless!

There should be more Boyce V Statham, always funny.

Quote of the week from this weeks episode:

You're not a man until you've got blood on your sword.

I've got the series 1 DVDs and very impressed with the Ep 5 commentary, featuring the triumverate of Julian Rhind-Tutt (Mac), Tamsin Grieg (Caroline) and Steven Mangan (Guy).

Hmm, never read the contents to this thread, nor been in it. But from that first pic juli posted, you can see how small the line of uk actors is. Fran and that traveller guy from Black Books. That young guy who has the dostoyevski...(sp?!) discussion with david brent in the office.

The british comedy scene is very incestuous.  Especially at the moment, basically, it's more like 2 degrees of seperation rather than 6.

Yeah just watch Shaun of the Dead to see the cream of British acting talent at the moment (the bit where they meet up with their counterparts).

I started to get anxious when Guy was telling Mac that he and Caroline really didn't get on before, but luckily it was all resolved...phew!

I just love the way Alan says "bastard"!

Jules! Joanna kicked the cat, and yes, it was the most awesome thing ever, I think I'll gif-icialise it.  :evillaugh:

Good episode, I was expecting them to drag out the whole tape and Mac & Caroline finding out stuff things, I guess that's just from watching too much Lost!
