He's the Chief of State of the New Republic in the NJO series. Halfway through the series, Coruscant is conquered by a massive Vong force. Fey'la, realising that he's going to be remembered as the Chief who let the New Republic be destoyed, rigs up a massive thermal detonator that is triggered when his heart stops, and demands from the Vong that he will only surrender the Republic to Warmaster Tsavong Lah (the head of the Vong warrior caste, and a major antagonist in the series). Lah decides against it, and the commander of the ground based invasion goes in his stead. Being your standard Vong, the commander stabs Fey'la in the heart with his Amphistaff, killing him and triggering the detonation, which destroys the former Imperial Palace and kills about 25,000 Vong troops. It was pretty cool.

It does support the Jump To Lightspeed expansion yes. All you need is vanilla SWG discs and vanilla JTL which are pretty cheap now second hand wise. Make sure you get one of the older copies, don't bother getting the SWG bundles as you won't use the latter two expansions and they have tacky box art.

Then the only money you'd need to pay is the server you choose, and that is if you feel like it. Also, all the problems the original SWG had are pretty much gone including the embarassing lag and combat inbalances.

The question isn't why it's coming out on consoles, but why it's coming out on the Wii, PS2, PSP and N-Gage - the lowest of the low-end (numbers-crunchingally* speaking), and not the PC.

Did you just diss Battlefront 2? Aww, that makes me mildly upset. And yeah, where is KOTOR 3? I just played through 1 and 2, and if they did the right stuff with it a 3 could be awesome.

How the HELL can you mess up a gameplay like BF1942? Make smaller maps with less vehicles, putting in a lame hero system and not giving a shit about patching after release that is how!

Battlefield 1942 and Battlefield 2142 have much better Star Wars mods. And they both are free.

Maybe....just maybe.. the new series will feature newtonian flight model (ships flying in microgravity  in space instead like airplanes) and maybe they will make a new simulator..

for some reason i have the feeling they will put newtonian models in the new series..
Because now is popular.. first Babylon 5 and now Galactica used them for realism and to do something diferent.. Surelly Lucas will try to fit that

And in other news, It looks like The Force Unleashed is raping more canon again! taken from GameSpy.

The Force Unleashed takes place seconds after Order 66.

 

The trial manifested as a duel / boss fight versus Darth Desolous, an evil-looking alien garbed in red and black.

How hard is the rule of fucking two to understand? KOTOR 1 and 2 was all over it? It is bad enough they have given Darth Vader a freaking x-treem!!1 PA but they are throwing in random fully trained Sith Wars on a whim now? Holy crap, If you are a developer for LA at least look at Wikipedia and ask around if your randomly generated Sith Lord name sounds retarded or not.

And Javier, I personally wouldn't care as long as I get me some sweet sweet Original Trilogy gaming action.

Yes. He's a serious character for the games tutorial for FOC.

And there are many reasons I cannot stand Battlefront 2. The weapons are slow and clunky, the UI is terrible and the AI for single player mode is a torture to work with. The stats were shallow and meaningless. There was only one map for pre ROTS Clones to fight on. The thing lacks a SDK and is virtually impossible to mod.

Hell, Battlefront 1 was better. The battlefields weren't as cramped.

You are right about the weapons... the missle launcher always POed me because it's slow, and it only has like 8 shots before you're spent. Smae thing with the jet trooper. His EMP thingy is weak, slow and inaccurate. Admittedly, the AI do suck.

I didn't feel like the battlefields were more cramped on BF2.

Being a EU writer does not give you the excuse to help fuck a product that subscribing people are playing, as well as alienate MMO and PC Gamers. Besides, his stuff sounds like crap and fluff.

Fluff which serves no purpose now people can copy from the books and put on the internet. He's not even on Wikipedia, The only article I got with his name was help writing a Prequal comic based on Jango Fett.

In fact, Vader's secret apprentice *WOULD* make a great backdrop for another TIE Fighter game.  I men, hell, in TIE Fighter you basically could become the Emperor's right-hand man, other than Mara Jade and Vader himself.

Who wasn't the Emperors right hand? He was a power slut of the Star Wars Galaxy. Tarkin, Vader, Mara Jade and the other hands and that guy from TIE Fighter as well as Thrawn, Issard and a few others.

Still a shame though, what else is going to happen to Vader to rip to shreds his BMF image?
