Which means that these guys could have been Brasillians. They found it, because they were looking for an electromagnetic anomaly. Hard to tell if they knew that there was a connection between the anomaly and Desmond. However, we do know how long they have been searching....because they were afraid that they have missed it again, so it seems that they did notice it when it crashed the plane, but that they were unable to pinpoint the location of the discharge... Bah, I wanted a monster out of the season finale. Or at least a polar bear. Hell, even a boar would have done

Seriously, the statue is obviously one of Matt Groening's earlier works. And I was thinking about Henry's ploy. He was very clever to lead his captors into believing he was a small banana. He still might be a small banana compared to Hanso bigwigs, of course, but it was still a good move.

I can never get the Hanso webpage to work that well. What's the deal with the world map?
And if someone is going to be doing this Gestapo post disapearing crap, they should at least cover their tracks better.

The posts were deleted because me and VF are dealing with it by e-mail, so they were no longer neccesary.
As for the scheduling for season three, i'm all in favour of it if it stops people whining about the repeats every damned week. Seriously, I had no problems this year with the crazy on-again/off-again arrangement as it allowed for some breathing room between downloads, and meant that people focussed more on each episode. But it was just absolutely insane how so many people equated the scheduling with the quality of the show, when they're both two very different animals. Yeah, you can talk about momentum and all that, but if you've got a memory longer than a week, that shouldn't really matter. Damned casual viewers.
Anyway, the 6-week-run, 12-week break, uninterrupted-run-from-february-through-may deal sounds pretty good. It means we get a nice juicy bunch of episodes to tie up the loose ends from the finale in its own mini-arc which will also set up the main run's story. I can't wait.
