1-877-HANSORG - the number is busy though   :( circuits are overloaded.
and their website relaunched. check it out: http://thehansofoundation.org/

I love stuff like that though, that goes beyond the range of just what airs on television. It reminds me of the old "game" for AI.

Again, an excelent episode. I know I'll be buying the Season 2 DVD when it comes out. It seems to me that this season is full of new information and puzzles.

Oh yeah, and what other characters were featured in this episode. I have a feeling I missed a few.

I tried dialing that from Australia, but it won't work. i did 0011 (out of AUS) 1 (into the US) then 1877 42 67 67 4.

Do american phones have the letters in different spots?

Anyone know the code?

DAMMIT.

My VCR cut off after Michael said "Sorry." I'm turning it back into a sex box.

It's my own damn fault though. I hope they do like last year and replay the episodes during the summer. That's how I started watching the show to begin with.

Ha, wishful thinking. They NEVER repeat the cool and important epsiodes, just those that were boring and had failed to attract enough viewers.

i don't rekon she's dead. There was something in the blanket that stopped the bullets, it was two shots specifically in the blanket, so everyone thinks she's shot, but then they can back themselves up when she's not dead because it was inconspicuous.

Also the jack claire thingy. PSSSHT! She's a blond Australian with a daughter, you saying us 'strains are all the same? RACIST! I'm saying a definate no, i'll just need a tiny bit more evidence. Someone go back and watch the claire centric eps and see if we see mother or father, or any reference to mother and father. (I've got 50baht riding on this!)

Also, Was the bar that Ana and mr jack stopped outside of (the one where sawyer got door'd) the same one they shared that sappy drink in the sawyer centric ep?

Also, who else has done the phone thing? i got through i got through!!!

have you figured out the point of calling the phone number yet? you get a password which you put into the hanso website, which then "freaks out" etc.

What, you mean you're not all Vegemite-eating, kangaroo-skin wearing, digeridoo players? I'm shocked.

I agree with you on this. Aside from the blonde-ness, there's no reason to believe that the woman Dr. Shepard ran into was Claire's mother. I didn't hear a whole lot of the conversation, but there was nothing to confirm what everyone's said. Aside from the fact that everyone is tied together, it's unlikely that's what happened.

I think its complete confirmation.  Why else would they put it in the show?  How else would it be significant enough to put there, for Jack to have a half sister - if she just lives in Aus.  Like who the hell cares.  No - its Claire, and when you find out Im right I get to punch Chay in the face. IN THE FACE. DEAL.

everything happens for a reason. In plays, or books, or movies they don't just do random things to fill space. So if the whole flashback pretty much is about Jack's dad going to Australia to see his daughter then I'm sure his daughter is a "person of note" to the plot of the show. It's a much better change that Claire is his daughter than her being an entirely new character.

Seriously chay, Lost is not the X-Files, people really die on this show.
(Okay, they might return in some flashbacks, but that's it.)

Selected dialog snippets from next week's episode:

"...Also, your half-sister is Libby, but now she's dead, so who cares?  By the way, have you found your dad's corpse yet?"

"Libby?  How could you have survived?"
"I don't know, I was just bringing the Shroud of Turin out for Hurley and me to have a picnic on..."

"Did you shoot those drunk-driving tailies?"
"Yes, master."
"And did you bring me what I told you to bring?"
"No, master.  The Others didn't have Snausages."
"INFIDEL!"
::Explosion::

"Hey, Charley, I see you're...eh, who cares?"

"Wow.  Those humans sure have a lot of subterfuge and intrigue on their plates right now."
"Yep."
"It's almost like they don't even need us anymore."
"Meh."
"I sure wish they'd pay more attention to us."
"I tell you what I wish.  I wish that psychic kid would manifest me a female polar bear to spend some quality time with, Smokey."
"Yeah, but that's probably not going to happen.  At least not until the season finale."
"Yeah."
"You got any fives?"
"Go fish."

OK, I went to this 'http://thehansofondation.org' website, and I have no frekin' clue what to do. How is this thing connected to "Lost"? In addition to this, what does dailing the number do? And how did you all find out about this?

My teacher told me you can do a bunch of cool stuff, but I have no clue what to do! Help would be appreciated!

you don't need to figure out the password because the password is breakingstrain (edit: right... breakingwhatever. Crazy monkey.)
go to the hanso website
try to sign up for the newsletter -> the website "breaks" and then will ask you for the password... crazy stuff happens... leading to more questions, basically. Try to send Joop a message... more craziness.
