I was literally killing my self when I missed epsiode 3 of the new season a few weeks ago, and now my episode 4 video tape is jammed in the Video player, therefore causing the player to not work.
I am now watching all the new episodes, and nothing will stop me!

At last they tested the 159 (yes im a week behind, still havent see this week show) after 2 years ..(they had filmed this test 3 seasons ago)

The type-R test was also good and ok..
What Honda was thinking when putting the same engine in a heavier car wich also has worst rear suspension than the previos car..
and how they tunned it so bad.. i mean.. in the previous Type-R as Jeremy says , you have lift-off understeer... and its rear suspension is fully independant..
But in old Peugeots and Citroens (306-ZX-Xsara-206) they dont have independant rear suspension, they have rear torsion bar and they are too lift-off oversteer prone and dont understeer like pigs, and my mk2 Golf, and so was the mk1 and mk3 they all have rear torsion bars and are not understeer prone (they are much neutral in fact, mine in particular is oversteer prone  :D ) and how Honda did the new Civic Type-R so understeer prone.. ITS THE TYPE-R..
They should have fitted in the S2000 engine with 240hp or a tuned down 220 version.. as every other car manufactured did, Golf 4 GTI-> 180hp Golf 5 GTI -> 200hp .. Seat Leon Cupra -> 225hp Seat Leon Cupra mk2 -> 240hp  , same hystory for the Megane, the A3, not the Focus, but again the current hot Focus is the ST, not the old RS, the old ST was 170hp so its a lot of gain with the new ST (still waiting for a new RS or even a Cossie  :D )

And Honda , wich had one of the better legacy of hot hatchs, (EG6,EK9,EF9) now screws up..

Exploding the remote controlled G-Wizz was pretty damn funny.  Also Jeremy's Cock-O-Meter.

Best episode was the one where they entered the 24-hour race in the BMW, Jezza crying at the end was really moving.  The boys done good.

Loved in that ep the Civic with the stiker "Top Gear please miss us" in the rear bumper  :D

Also that ep shows why some marcs forbide Bio-Diesel  to use in their engines... pure bio-diesel is destructive to "conventional" fuel-lines, and thats what happened to the beamer..
the problem is not only that it eats rubber fuel lines... it also eats fuel-pump/injectors seals ruining them

Oh about the Lewis Hamilton lap.. someone else thinks it was too strange?
Please im not going to bash him, you know i dont like him, but im putting appart that and analizing it..
What i cant understood is how he got only 0.3 of a second slower than Stig...in wet..
Acording to TG if you do a lap in wet its 4 seconds off.. so are they telling me that Lewis in one day did 3/4 seconds faster than Stig who drives that track...and that car a lot often?
Stig should really go out there again and settle this..no one can beat him! (not even James mother , if renember the ep where she appeared)

the best episode of the series was the BMW 24h race car one in my opinion  :) they were lucky to finish the race.

Oh i almost forget
(as probably my last 2007 post..se ya in 2008)

Better lines of the season (to me):

In the amphibious cars:
Jeremy  -How its your engine?
Richard -Ruined..

In the BL cars challenge:

Jeremy  -My washing machine moves arround the kitchen faster than that!

PPD: G-Wizzes are rubbish.. not because they have a battery wich is NOT green (they only change where the pollution is made, until you can produce electricity cleanly) and endures almost nothing..

But because i hate its creators, because when topGear this year crash tested the G-Wizz and show a worring low security score they said "but its ok because the G-Wizz is slow so you will not hit that fast"..

IM SORRY... What about OTHER cars hitting you..because other cars can achieve those speeds and abobe you bunch of idiots....

Thats my final trash talk of the year  :D

Jav:  Maybe Lewis is that good?  I dunno, I'm kinda getting sick of being beaten with the Lewis-stick over here.  I was utterly elated that he lost the World Championship.

Another favourite episode was the "best driving road" movie with James in the Aston Martin racing-car, and the cross-London race. I enjoyed both those.

Speaking of best lines:

Jezza (In a Lambourgini): How's your Beetle?

Hamster (In a Porsche): Great!  How's your Audi?

In that same ep when they cross that dust cloud in the desert

Jezza: "I have every 1920s dissease"
(..)
Hamster: "at one point i had to close this quarter a little bit, just half inch to get fresh air in. its nice!"
Jezza: Do you know how it feels when someone punchs you really hard in the middle of the face.."
Hamster: I do actually..

Ironicaly , because , with the exception of Richardīs dissastrous Dragster run(wich was 500km/h) he is the one of them who drived at most speed , at 407km/h in the Veyron..
and some time ago he put a Bentley at more than 300

I still have to watch 4 and 5 but ..
did you guys watched the cheap police car and cheap italian cars challenges?

I was LMAO in he police one.. specially with the "horn" James and Jeremy used.. like when that "horrible" crash scene with lot of wounded and gory and the three of them appear with the ice cream van music (and as allways one of them slaming against James car)

the Italians car was great too.. im just a frakking fan of 75s .. and for 450ponds that 75 just ran so well..

The new series is pretty funny, I liked the new incompetent stunt man in a couple of the earlier episodes, pity he hasn't been on lately.

I agree the cop cars episode was great, I laughed till I cried when I saw Jeremy's Boadicea wheels in action  :laff:

Perhaps I should have put "incompetent" in quotes, clearly he isn't really incompetent but that seems to be his role in the show as they get him to do stunts he is bound to fail.

So, when they're sitting in the studio they sometimes show things on their TV right before they show new cars on it. However, the camera then quickly zooms out so we can't see it. What am I missing?

I found out in some forum..

but another confirmation is in this link:
 http://forums.finalgear.com/top-gear/finally-my-day-at-top-gear-11x03-28551/

Is the report of a guy who went as audience in 11X03 , including photos of what we dont see behind the cams and stuff (love the pic of the three presenters real cars they use to go work, 911 for Hammond, SLK for Jezza and Panda for James ) and he confirms what appears on the screen.

besides in 11X04 there was no porn pic, it was the Alfa 8C cabrio wich Jezza describes as pornography

Some dude ran into James May back in August when series 11 was closing and Captain Slow told him that Series 12 would start about the 3rd week of October .. so we only are 3 weeks away from the new series .

It makes perfectly sense.. TG series now are 6-9 episodes run.. the second series of each year is meant to end before the end of the year (last ep is the special cristmas one with the awards and so last sunday of the year) so if it stars third week october there is only 9 weeks left and we know that snooker and/or footbal will probably took away more than one weekend so series 12 will probably run 6-7 eps..

well, anyway, the new boys are already in the papers for causing a huge "traffic chaos" with a tractor in busy Melbourne this week.

Great show, catch it whenever BBC America runs it.

My favorite was the one where they bought junk cars, sprayed offensive slogans across them, and drove from Miami, up through the southern US.

Then Jeremy's car wouldn't start at a gas station, and they nearly got beaten for having "COUNTRY MUSIC SUCKS" painted on one of the cars!

Epic Pwn!

That was James May's Cadillac not Jeremy's Camaro that had the bad battery and refused to start most of the time, and the slogan you are referring to was Country and Western music is rubbish.
