I generally don't like XMAS as much as Halloween or Thanksgiving.  But, if I had to pic a favorite classic XMAS special, it'd be "A Charlie Brown Christmas".

A Very Sunny Christmas. Released this year. So technically not a classic.

If I had to choose one from the list above it'd be the Peanuts one.

If that isn't already a classic it should be.

No Star Wars Christmas Special? Come on!

The Star Wars Holiday Special, isn't a Christmas special... it was a thanksgiving special... those who have never seen it should give thanks :p

I do too! I'd say that's one of my favorite movies ever.

As for Christmas specials, I haven't seen all of the ones on the list...but I am partial to the Grinch.

But if I have to choose from the list, I guess I'll go with Mickey's Christmas Carol just because I want to :)

a peanuts christmas, tied with the star wars christmas special. the peanuts christmas is one of the best done kid's programs i've ever seen and it ages pretty damned well. as for the star wars christmas special, well, it's got luke skywalker in makeup, introduces boba fett, and has an old cranky wookiee watching porn. what's more christmassy than that?

It's still better than those prequel movies.

I agree with this year-old sentiment.  Unless we consider Scrooged as a Christmas Carol variation, which it is.  Eh, I like them both.

You leave Jefferson Starship out of this.  I know you've always hated them.

And stop responding to my year-old posts.

How can you say that about a Holiday special that had Bea Arthur & an obviously intoxicated Carrie Fisher in it?  For SHAME...

Watching Mickey's Christmas Carol.  Surprisingly, Mickey's is hardly in this short.
