I've got all of Peter Kays stuff on DVD. I'd also recommend watching the "In The Club" episode of That Peter Kay Thing, which is the pre-cursor to Phoenix Nights, with Brian Potter & Co running the Neptune Club (which, as we know, burnt down prior to Brian managing the Phoenix Club). My main favourite is Phoenix Nights, being a northerner, we're all immersed in Working Mens Club Culture (and I've played a couple too) and as much as it's a brilliantly well-observed gag on Clubland, it's Kay's love-letter to it too. Anyone who's seen the Psychic (or is that Pyskick?) episode of Phoenix Nights will attest that it's one of the funniest things ever, and the psychic is hilariously bad: Is there a John in the room? Now, hands up, who can't have kids...I'm getting the word, "NONCE!"

I watched Live At The Top Of The Tower last night. Still makes me laugh out loud.
I admit to being turned-off by Max & Paddy's Road To Nowhere, but on a second viewing, I found myself really getting into it. The episodes which explore Max's past (with Tiny Tina) are great, especially when Brian Potter makes an appearance.
Shame tho, that when all of the Phoenix Club group make an appearance, there's no Dave Spikey. 'Tis a shame him and Peter Kay fell out.

Yeah that bit was really funny. Other moments that I like are the wild West one with the horse hummping the rodeo bull, the stand up comedian part with the guy almost naked and have his name written on his body, Max and Paddy’s prank phone call to Brian, and the bit where the men stole the TV from the pub. Other favourites include the Pub Quiz episode from Series 2:
Ray Von: Name the Magnifcent Seven? Max: Alright! Here we go! Yul Brynner, Steve Mcqueen, Bronson... Spencer: ...Sleepy, Dopey, and Bashful. We'll shit 'em!
Also, look out for Max & Paddy singing "Amarillo" in Episode One (listen for Chorley FM's annoucing it as being by "The late, great, Tony Christie" ).
Brilliant.
The pilot of That Peter Kay Thing, "The Services" is really good too. Which introduces Paul LeRoy of Chorley FM....

Yeah you can blame on me :P Hehe I just saw Peter Kay comedy store on channel 5 and I have never ever laugh out so really loud at his jokes. Some joke was from “Top Of The Tower” but it just makes me laugh even more. Awww I have find it really cute when the woman come back from sitting down and he asked her where she been then he said she had a piss. I think to avoid her getting embarrassed he went off stage come over to her and give her and kiss and a hug. So last night I have watch the Series 2 of Phoenix Nights and I got the last episode to go. I think Series 2 is better then Series 1 because it is more funnier. I like fund raise episode with Jerry The Berry and the inflatable penis. I also love the ladies night episode where Brian got stuck on the stairs and Paddy’s performance for the ladies. This is also is the start where the episode focusing Max and Paddy now I am glad to learn how the got their motor able. I am looking forward to watch to see the last episode either tonight or tomorrow. Also Peter is full of surprises Edit: Oh yes i forgot to mention while I was out I taped the Ronnie Barker - A BAFTA tribute with Peter making a speech. Did anybody saw it?

Oh yes! I think the "Where babies come from" is the funniest. By the way I met this guy last night! Oh my god what a fantastic I had on Friday night! After college I went home and got myself ready and went to Southport and that is where I met Dawn there. I thought that I was going to be late but I was just time which was good. We walked to the theatre and when we got inside we went to the merchandise stall and bought Patrick McGuinness his and hers calendar. We went to our seats and John and Mel joined us. So you watched this warm up guy and he was funny. After he did his act we relaxed while waiting for Patrick to come on. I chatted to John for a bit and got myself an ice cream. Then the lights dined down and I got really excited. They played this video intro, which was very funny, and then Patrick came to the stage. He was so hot! He was really funny and I was laughing all the time. I really did enjoy myself. It was really funny that he told one of the female audiences that he would have his photo taken with her. So he put her in a doggie style position while one of the male audiences took a photo. I was laughing so hard that I couldn’t breath. I got very excited towards the end when he say that he going to do the “Lord Love Rocket” act again. It was took dark for my to control my new camera and I took a little video clip on it. Shame there was no sound coming out of it. When the show was finished we waited in the hall for a bit hoping that Patrick might of come out but unfortunately the people from the theatre have to kick us all out. I called my sister Jo to come and pick me up. Mel took us to the car park and there we saw Paddy and his brother Tony. I was really star struck when I talked to Paddy for a bit. I got my photo took with him. boy he was really tall! He also signed my little notebook and the calendar that I bought. I asked him if he would sign the month September for me, which is the month of my birthday, and he did. I even (also Mel and Dawn) got a kiss from him. That made me goes weak in the knees. We saw Paddy and Tony go off in the car and went back outside the theatre and took some photos of each other. Then we went to the pub across the road, have a drink and singed John’s jumper. I went outside to check if my Jo was there waiting for me and she was. I said goodbye to Dawn, John and Mel and went off with Jo to stay over at her house over night.

It's not a Spin-Off, it's a spoof, and it better be good. After all the DVD re-hashes, crappy singles, and non-activity on the Phoenix Nights front, I'm growing a little tired of Mr. Kay.
