I've got seasons 3-8. I might buy 9 but after that, I think I'm done. 1 and 2 aren't quite good enough for me to want to own them. Same goes for 10, 11 and 12. And well... 13 onwards is just depressing to watch. You'd have to pay me to own them.

Maybe I should buy the movie, though.

Until recently I only had season 6,7,10,12 and the movie. In December I bought seasons 1-5, 8, 9 and 11 all at once and it felt really good for some reason.

Seasons four through seven are pretty much gold. I own seasons one through thirteen (season five was stolen from me; I was none too pleased about that), season twenty, and the movie. After season nine, though, I've mostly been buying them for the commentaries.

The collection as it currently exists will probably be in an unfashionable format by the time Danny dies. Whoever inherits his stuff will go "Ewww, these are... CDs, I think? Whatever, they're going in the garbage, cause they're not even compatible with my Neuralink".

'You Only Live Twice' is a contender for my favourite episode of the show ever.

Just watched an average episode from Season 5 (The Boy Who Knew Too Much). Pretty funny, and entertaining along the way. I just cracked up at the mind reading part.

I can't help but feel like we should take this to the 'The Simpsons' thread.

But yes, pretty much every episode from season 5 is gold. As is the case for seasons 3-9. The only exception I'd make there is for 'So It's Come to This: A Simpsons Clip Show' and 'Another Simpsons Clip Show'. And even the first clip show is one of the best clip shows that I've ever seen.

To me Season 5 was the best followed by Season 6 then Season 4.

I got Super on DVD. I love it so much. It's the most gloriously fucked up film I've seen in quite some time and one that's pretty much perfectly in line with my sense of humour.

Wow Amazon! Two days ago I ordered The Fourth Season of The Simpsons. 2 WHOLE DAYS....


And just to top it off, it was never used, or touched except for a little tear in the plastic wrap. So I pretty much got a perfect box with unused DVDs from the season for only $10.33! What a deal!

just got a few things.  Mississippi Burning on DVD from the bargain bin and it was a good film.  HULK on blu ray for real cheap.  I know Ang Lee's film wasn't that good, but I just enjoy the last third of the film.  Also have blu ray copies of Godzilla Criterion Collection and Batman 89 Blu Ray book edition.

3/8--just got a two-disc edition of Red Dragon, didn't know there was one.  I also got the Karate Kid remake on blu ray for $5.95.

got Hellboy II The Golden Army 3-disc & The Thing (2011 Blu ray/DVD Combo) at good prices.  I really loved John Carpenter's the Thing, and the prequel was okay, really liked how it set up for the original film.

I'm planning on going to 9, and I'll probably get the movie. I can't buy things that 1/4 of it are disappointing. But, my collection is great! Here's what I've gotten the past 2 months:

just got SUPER on blu ray.  Really big fan Ellen Page now after watching that.  Kevin Bacon did an awesome memorable performance.

3/29-Just got Superman/Batman Public Enemies blu ray

4/2 just got IN TIME on Blu ray.

just got 300 The Complete Experience Blu Ray Book for cheap.  Really good condition.

5/3--got a few things, Set It Off on Blu ray and Robocop Criterion Collection since it has great extras.

5/7 got Spawn Animated: The Ultimate Collection

5/17- got Jurassic Park trilogy on Blu ray and Young Justice Volumes 1-3.

5/22 got both the Rocky Ultimate Collection on blu ray and Aeon Flux the series on dvd for cheap.

5/25- got Chronicle on Blu Ray/DVD

got a few things for cheap The Bourne Trilogy Blu Ray set, 2 classic films; Son of Kong and Mighty Joe Young.

Also got G.I. Joe DIC Series Season 1.

Just got Season 10 of the old TMNT series.  It includes the missing episodes from Season 5.  Now, I own all the episodes from the old series.

I also got both Justice League New Frontier and Hunger Games on blu ray.

Firefly the complete series on blu ray for about $20 and just had to add Serenity on blu ray to go along with it.
