I got a few horror films with it being almost Halloween.  I got the special two disc edition of 30 Days of Night, found it in a bargain bin.  Also by luck, I found the rare Extended Edition to the original Halloween, with new scenes that were filmed in 1980 during production of Halloween II.  It was to celebrate the televised airing of Halloween.

Just got Nightmare on Elm Street (2010 Blu ray/DVD combo) really cheap and in new condition.  Willing to admit it was an okay remake, it's not the worst remake ever made.  However, it's nowhere near as good as the original.

11/8-- just got Close Encounters of the Third Kind (3-disc Ultimate Edition) for like $8.  I just saw the theatrical cut, can't wait to see the special edition and director's cut.

11/10--just picked up She-Ra, The Best of 2-disc set.  Just had to get it for the art cards that come with each set.

11/11--I found Tron: 20th Anniversary Edition in the bargain bin.  I'm glad cause amazon wanted over $40 for it.  Need to catch up on my Tron if I plan to watch Tron: Legacy this Dec.

just picked up a really good title, Seven Samurai: The Criterion Collection.  I was so lucky to find this really cheap.

12/20- just got Robert Rodriguez's El Mariachi and Alien vs. Predator Unrated version for super cheap.  Yeah, I know AVP sucked, but I wanted to complete my collection since I have the Alien Quadrilogy and the two predator movies.  Still need to get Predators and AVPR.

1/13- did a little bargain bin shopping and got The Thing, The Collector's Edition.  Heard there'll be a prequel, coming this year.

I haven't seen The Thing in ages.  It's one of only a few films that were really scary for me to watch.  What does The Collector's Edition have in addition to the theatrical release?

The local supermarket used bin is now my only source for DVDs.  I've promised myself that I won't buy any more new DVDs: it's Blu-Ray moving forward.  But I won't buy a Blu-Ray player until I've a TV big enough to take advantage of it.  Chicken, meet egg!  In a weak moment I almost bought Blade Runner - The Final Cut DVD off Amazon.

Just got: T4, Charlie Wilson's War, and U-571.  I haven't watched any of them before.

just got a few good gems from the bargain bins.  Zodiac 2-disc collectors edition.  I saw this movie was just loved it.

The Fly (1986) 2-disc collector's edition.  A classic film from my childhood and this has a butt load of features.

The reason why I bought it was because I've never had on DVD before, since I previously only had the VHS copy. It's been years since I've seen MIB and I remember being a big fan of the first film.  I saw the deluxe copy in a bargain bin and liked the features on it, so decided to get it.  I think the "deluxe edition" implies the features not that it's a different cut of the film.

2/21-just found a rarity in the bargain bin.  2-disc edition of Fire and Ice.  I've never seen this film, but heard this is one of Ralph Bakski's best.  Just by the price--cheaper than Amazon right now--and such awesome condition, I figure I'd give it a shot.

just got Gothika on blu ray for really cheap and I got The New Adventures of He-Man, Vol. 1-2 on DVD, thus completing my He-Man/She Ra BCI collection.

6/30- just got X-men Evolution season 3 for $5 and Rocky 2-disc edition for $4.  I plan to get the Rocky Collection on blu ray, but for some reason the Rocky 2-disc edition has a way more special features than the blu ray version of Rocky.
