I like the The Mole. I've watched every series. For this series I think Juan or Heidi is the Mole. Who do you think it is?

I used to watch it back in 2000/2001 before Reality TV became big, then I just stopped for a few seasons. I've been watching this one, though - since there's nothing else on Thursdays, the Reality TV fad's died down a lot now, and hey, Chay recommended it. At first I was just going to watch the one episode purely out of boredom, but then I think I noticed who the Mole was, and now I'm hooked. Fuck!  :p

Anyway, I think it's Liz. In the first episode, when they were digging up the things in the snow, she was shovelling snow INTO the hole. Then she didn't stay in the ice cave, despite the fact she's a professional surfer and would easily be able to handle physical challenges. Then she was in the losing rock-climbing group that went right past the envelopes, and was at the top screaming "Come on, come to the top!" intentionally trying to get other group members to miss them. Finally in the first episode, a circle was around her name in the list before the elimination started. And they've hidden things like that before, if I recall. I haven't spotted as many things with her in later episodes, but I've noticed she's usually always in the losing group. Hell, in the latest episode during the paintball sniper challenge, she sacraficed herself as a decoy to get the others through, and started running around waving her arms. What, she seriously thought that would work?

So, I personally think it's Liz, but then, all other evidence points to Kristy. For one, if you go to the official site, you'll see red dots in the background of various logos, forming braile. I've converted it, and it says "Kristy, ...S champion" (in her profile, it says she was an aerobics champion, so I'll assume - it can't mean she's the winner, since it's filmed as the show goes now, because of those fucking pointless live eliminations). There's also some braile in the show at the bottom-left during profiles, but I've yet to convert that at the moment. Anyway, Kristy's usually in losing groups, and she's always complaining and never doing anything properly. Remember in the first episode when they had the letters from the envelope they had to arrange to form two words? They were given an L to start with, and it was put in the right place... and the dumb bitch moved it! So, either Kristy's the mole and their hints are way too obvious, or the producers are going all-out to make viewers think it's her.

I'll still put my money on Liz, though. As for who you think, I haven't noticed any suspicious behaviour from Heidi, but then again, I haven't noticed any brilliant work from her, either. I don't think it's Juan, though - I think he's just genuinely useless.  :p

Maybe there are some jokes happening, but Boost's sense of humour is far too sophisticated for you to realise...

With All this 'moley activity' you've pointed out I'm started to get suspicious about Liz now.
I also noticed that ring around Liz's name at the first live elimination, but I just thought that, because it came back from a commercial break, Tom was just showing them what will happen.
But anyway, I'll have to keep watching Liz in future episodes.

I watched Drawn Together again last night. It was really.... weird. Octopusswai?! But I had to laugh at the sex education demonstrators. "Here let me do it!" That was funny. And the Star Wars reference as well. I'm going to watch this next week for sure!

How about Survivor?
Ok i'm pretty obcessed on reality tv... so I think it's great that Ch9 get it straight away after it airs in the US.
I remember when I lived in Canada and started watching the first Apprentice season, and missed the end couple of episodes cuz I had to come home. And realised here in Aus, the season had only just started. I had to watch it all over again... annoying!

Bump.

Unfortunately, it's not on anymore. Channel Seven took it off again after just 5 episodes... for Desperate fucking Housewives repeats. WHAT THE HELL?!

Anyway, John Safran has a new show starting on SBS next Monday. Here's the description:

Quote
Speaking in Tongues
In this is 12-part series John Safran teams up with his maverick match in wit and weird wisdom, Father Bob Maguire. Father Bob and Safran continue their oddest of the odd couple television relationship in this current affairs-cum-chat show with a spiritual twist. This series is mould-breaking, demonically inspired television and will feature guests including cult-busters, scientists and a dog whisperer who has the ability to communicate with Father Bob's dog, Franklin. Different phenomena is explored in the series which features guests who have witnessed inexplicable events and lived to tell the tale, including one guest who experienced a golem-sighting in Prague.

John Safran vs God won't be an easy last project to top, but hey - sounds interesting, could be really hilarious.

I'm tipping it won't be as... "woah awesome" as Music Jamboree or Vs. God, but it will still be great to watch. Just like his radio show on Triple J is great to listen to.

I'll be tuning in to watch Father Bob Maguire - screw John "Jewnads" Safran! I'm absolutely positive they'll be replacing John with that Grand Wizard he interviewed in VS God - hilarity ensues!

This sounds like it has heaps of potential. Chat shows are usually pretty long running - there's also the untapped vein of sexiness buried deep beneath the Mountain Bob Maguire.

Yeah, I know that now, since I did watch them last night, but at the time of my post, AD and Scrubs were NOT listed, either in my home TV guide, Teletext, or on YourTV. It was a late change. I wouldn't mind betting quite a few people missed it. Shame too, since both seemed like important episodes (though I don't follow Scrubs like I do AD, instead just watching it occassionally).

Either way, AD's Season One finale should be on next week, so everybody be sure to watch that. It's an unmissable episode.  :)

Nah yourtv told me. I tape Scrubs but not AD since I have season 1. If they continue with 2 I'll tape it even though I've seen it all on crafty tv because my mum wants to watch it. She's up to disc 3 of season 1 now.

eh, it was a little to erratic. Didn't spend much time on each thing, it would be better if they focused on one thingy and let discussion flow. It also seemed a bit forced or rehursed. I did like ti though, i'll probable watch next week. I'm waiting of the for the Intelligent design vs. Gradualism debate.
