This thread is the opposite of Celebrities you just love to hate. Which Celebrities do you like?

I absolutely love David Williams and Matt Lucas because they made me laugh so much with their show Little Britain. I hope that they will win some awards on The British Comedy Awards 2004 and I going to be so looking forward to see their live show at the Liverpool Empire in 2006.

If they count as celebrities, Matt Stone and Trey Parker (the latter especially). Comedic geniuses.

Billy Connolly, Samuel L. Jackson, Peter Jackson, Viggo Mortenson (from the LOTR DVD appendices, he looks like a cool guy).

Billy Connolly, Samuel L. Jackson,

Yeah, those guys. One's a Scot, and one wears a kilt. Neat.

Uuuummm...

I dunno. Once again, I don't spend much time paying attention to celebrities. However, if they've appeared in a Tarontino film, assume that I like them.

Also, Orsen Welles and Marlon Brando.

And that Pacino guy. And De Niro.

Actually, I don't so much like celebrities as I do actors, and even then, only for their acting. Huh.

EDIT: Oh, and Bruce Campbell! Geez, can't believe I forgot him.

Jim Carrey
Arnold Swarzenegger(not the best actor but he seems like a really interesting person, and I really respect him as president of california)
Mel Gibson
Bill Gates

A few living ones already mentioned. But the dead ones rock the most, like Spike Milligan.

Also: All the Monty Python lads (even Graham, who is sadly long dead).

Oh and Hideki Ano, he knows how to fuck with people's heads.

Every person that has ever been on big brother is a fucking moron who diserves to die.

I hear watching it downgrades your IQ by a few hundred points.

Quick question: how many of the many movies Samuel Jackson has starred in has his character died?  The only one that springs to memory is Jurassic Park.  I wish they actually showed him getting eaten, I'd imagine it would go something like this:

Ray Arnold: (Notices raptors in the utility shed)  What the hell are you doing in here, bitch?  Get your pointy ass back into your pen right now.  (Raptors attack)  Oh shit, you did not just bite my ass!  Let go of my arm, you scaly motherfucker, or I'm gonna fuck you up! (gets eaten)

Jack White Cause he forgave me for getting him mobbed by drawing attention to him at big day out... he was also nice enough to hang out with me for a short while, gave me a big hug and thanked me repeatedly for seeing the show...
i also love robert downy jr for some reason..even though he was mr crazy drug addict.

johnny depp cause he makes awesome movies.
Dave Chappelle, Benicio Del Toro (for his role as the samoan in fear and loathing), Eric Bana, cause before he was in those big budget movies he was the mullet toating Poida..

and in the same vein, Shaun Micallef for being as cooky as monty python... and monty python of course... ESPECIALLY Graham chapman.. (god rest his medically funny soul).... he was a looney.. but.. he was a happy looney...
lucky bastard....

I am very fond of Peter Kay when he is in Max and Paddy Road To Nowhere. I have never seen him on Phoenix night but I will be watching the two series Phoenix night and Max and Paddy all the through when it is showing on E4 on New Year’s Eve.

Yeah Jack Black is cool in School Of Rock.

<Best JP fanfic ever follows>
I hear Little Mister Canada sabers him to death in the new Star Wars movie.  Which reminds me, I have to go put Hayden Christianson in the hate thread.

Also, Squeedleklotch, I may disagree with you over in the evolution thread, but I do like you for pissing Lampy off.  I love pissed-off Lampy.

Anyway:
Harrison Ford.  He's kind of a bastard now, but he's been the most memorable character in some of the greatest movies in history.
All Four Beatles.
Pretty much any old* actor from Scotland, apparently (Connery, Stewart, McKellan, McDiarmid, ...uh...is Christopher Lee Scottish?  Well I like him too.)
Groening, Cohen, and all the actors from Futurama, especially Billy and John, since I've actually heard interviews with them.
While I'm on the subject of cartoons, Dan Castellanetta.

*i.e. not Colin Farrel.  Wait, is he Scottish or English?

Hehe, Ford is kinda neat. Can't wait for him to become senile and start acting like Indie or Han.

Mark Hamil, don't forget Luke too! he was the voice of The Joker!

Some of my favourite celebrities:

Ian McKellen, Sean Connery, Micheal Palin, Terry Jones, Lauren Bacall, Harrison Ford, Mark Lammar, Paul Merton.

A mish-mash there, but all cool in their own way.
