Has anyone seen this guy? He's amazing. But after watching him for such a long time, rooting him on, I'm now watching to see if he ever loses.
On the 9/28/2004 (or 9/27/2004) show, one guy could have beaten him. Ken bet some money, and got around $34,000 in Final Jeopardy. The other guy, if he had bet all his money, would have had more than or equal to Ken's final amount. I know he might not have been sure, but there's no extra reward if he has a lot of money.
There is a 2nd, and 3rd place prize, isn't there? If so, he could have bet everything but $1 if he wanted. (Unless the consolation prizes are based on the final amount of money you have at the end. But I've seen people who have a negative amount still get a consolation prize money.)

Sorry Eyedol, but this probably belongs in the TV section.

But yes, his streak is amazing.

From the Associated Press:
A report posted on TV Week's Web site said the brainy software engineer lost in a show taped September 7, walking away after his 75th straight game with about $2.5 million overall in cash and prizes.
Sorry, it seems as if he has already lost.  The  episode showing his loss has just not yet been aired.

"Pardon me sir, did you see what happened?"

"Yeahhhhh, I did.  I took 'tomaters' for $400, and here he come, runnin' through the audience, nekkid as a jay bird.  And I hollered to Alex, I said 'Don't look Alex!' But it was too late.  He'd already been incensed."

Does anyone else think that Ken Jennings releaseing an autobiography, like a month after he loses, is inevitible? When you go to big book stores they have biographies for everyone.

Maybe they will make a reality show after him; these days you've either got a book or a show.   :nono:
I did watch a few episodes last month where he was kicking a huge amount of ass- just speeding through questions while the other two contestants stared at him.
I bet he cheated.   :laff:

See, he's a smart guy, and his plan is to buzz in on every question and use the time to answer to think and answer. But he's so smart and studies so much that he knows most of the answers.
