I just thought I'd point out Maurice Lamarche's recent appearance it the movie Team Americe: World Police force. For those of you who haven't heard about it, it's the most horrible, vulgar, politically incorrect movie ever, not to mention the fact that it involves puppets. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone could tell me what character he played. I saw his name in the credits, but forget what name it was next to. Thanks!

Do we have a Team America thread yet? Because so far, all general Team America discussion has gone in the South Park thread...

It's weird hearing Maurice LaMarche is doing voiceover work in a film, and only playing one character.

I just want to know what they cut out to get the R rating.  I can't even imagine what it could be...I mean, if that scene didn't involve puppets, it'd be X rated for sure, not just NC17.  On second thought, maybe I don't want to know...

Looks like Sean Penn's pretty steamed about the movie, tho:  http://www.drudgereport.com/penn.htm

What I heard was had to they cut the puppet scat and puppet golden shower from the sex scene to get down to an R rating.  So yeah, you probably didn't want to know...

Well, I am a south park fan but I am not interested to see Team America in the cinema. Maybe if it comes on my digital TV after one year of it's released, I’ll take a look just to see wot's all the big fuss about.

"Graphic, crude & sexual humor, violent images & strong language; all involving puppets."
Just the disclaimer under the rating makes me want to see it a tiny bit.

Roger Ebert is such a douche. He gave the movie 1 star. I can remember him giving South Park BLU one star when it came out, only to retract that score and give it 3/4 stars a few months later.

You said his name wrong it's Kim Jong Il not Kim Il Jong, actually if I am not mistaken Kim Il Jong was his father.

No, he means actual communism, which I don't think would work, personally. China has several large privitely owned corperations at this point, which pretty much outs it as a Communist country. North Korea is more of a dictatorship with some communist ideals at work.

Thank you newhook.

I don't consider a nation that censors the internet from people to be Communist anyway.

Uncut puppet sex, FUCK YEAH!

Actually, this version isn't as extreme as I heard they tried to go, so this may be one of the compromise versions the MPAA rejected.

The puppet sex was one of the best scenes, it's so ridiculous. They're in all these retarded poses thrusting each other.  :D

That puppet sex scene isn’t that bad. I hope to get to see that movie really soon.
