Apparently, CN is going to show VB in production order during its midnight run.  This is a little odd, since CN didn't follow the production order for original airings.

/oh, even though the P-Code is messed up, they will show "Return to Spider-Skull Island" after "Trial of the Monarch."

They're afraid some underage minor-type person with uptight parents will see that episode where Brock wrestles with Molotov Cocktease and has to go..."take care of something".

I love that episode, also the episode about Brock's license expiring is very...um, adult, what with the strip club, Butterfly guy touching himself to Dr. Girlfriend and the bald old guy getting it on, very funny though.  But some underage kid can catch it on saturday.

I don't know what episode your talking about, but I saw "Hello God Are You There God?  It's Me Dean." (title may vary), it was very hilarious.  I also saw the expired license episode again, the scene where Dr. Venture tells H.E.L.P.E.R. to shoot him in the head because he's a catepillar is beyond words, I almost craped my pants!
Other Guy- "Almost?!"

I hope they have another season, I think it would be a crime if they didn't bring this show back.

P.S. I love the vintage Adult Swim bumpers.  The memories.

Yeah Dr. Girfriend is really hot, I developed a crush on her in episode "Mid-life Chrysalis", when she was sitting at the bar, even though she's on the side of evil she still showed compasion for Dr. Venture after she turned him into a catepillar.  I even like the voice!  I really think I need professional help.

That goes without saying, Winna. Who couldn't love a woman who looks like Jackie O but sounds like a stevedore?
"Are You There God..." was great. I know someone who had surgery for testicular tortion. It is a genetic condition and it is (apparently) extremely painful. Hmm, the things you learn from TV.

From what I read on Venture Brothers threads in [as], apparently Doc Hammer (voice actor/co-creator) suffered from testicular torsion when he was a kid.  So, naturally, he gave it to Dean.  Testicular torsion would explain how he can do Dr. Girlfriend's voice so well.

Oh man, you mean that's a real medical condition?  Now I'm going to have nightmares.

I read on the Adult Swim boards that Venture Brothers will be taken out of the weeknight rotation in a couple of weeks.  I think they're putting ATHF back on at midnight.  I'm going to miss my nightly fix of Venture Brothers.  Hopefully it will still retain the Saturday night spot.

I wish they would announce whether or not they are going to make another season of this show.  I really really like this show and the suspense of renewal is killing me.  I'll be extremely pissed if it gets canceled.

I can't understand why they'd put ATHF back on weeknights again.  IMO, the show has been replayed to death.  Even the funny episodes aren't that funny anymore.  The Venture Brothers is still a fresh show.  Each time they cycle through it, I'm sure there are plenty of people who get hooked on the show and give it ratings.  Give a show some time to grow, [as].

I think I heard from an interview at IGN that they wouldn't know about a new season until the spring.  Therefore, I doubt we'll get any new episodes until mid summer/early fall at the earliest.  I know, I wish CN would just pull the freakin' switch and renew it already.  What hte heck is taking them so long?

Brock: HEADS DOWN!
Dean: But there's pee-pee on the floor!
Brock: I SAID HEADS DOWN!
and also....
Brock:Race Bannon. Those bastards killed him.
Hank: You mean those little kids? Dammit, we let them get away!

Apparently [as] is showing a "Venture Brothers Christmas Special" on December 19th.  The rumor is that it will take place before the episode "Trial of the Monarch," so the Monarch is still free and the boys aren't 'dead.'

This show is almost too painful to watch.
It makes me laugh way too much.
First and foremost, it's an over the top parody of Jonny Quest.
I'm a long time Quest fan from waaay back.
I was always an Alex Toth fan and I even have a bunch of Doug Wildey western comics.
Second - the Tick connections:
Patrick Warburton. Chris McCulloch. 'Nuff said.
I was a big fan of both the old Tick cartoons and the live show.
(In fact, the live show really need to be collected on DVD)
Ben Edlund is even slated to write some eps.
All I'll need to cap it off is a Reverend Horton Heat version
of the theme song.

I do not want this to go away.

I thought the Tick (live) was on DVD already?

I also loved the part when Race Bannon crapped himself after dying, they never show that!  And when Hank got takken out by the plan.  The whole show is freakin' hilarious, it might take Futurama's place as my favorite animated show.

Please put it out on DVD before fall 2005.

Yeah, that's how I caught most of the season.  The first episode I saw was the one where Brock and Dr. Venture get kidnapped by their college friend.

Arrested Developement Needs Your Help!  Go to we.com and click on Pop Culture (or something) and take the poll, vote for Arrested Developement for show of the year.  Right now it's third behind "Lost" and "Desperate Housewives".

When will the results be in?

I love the college episode, think it was called "Past Tense", the scenes where they show Brock beating up his roomates and cut to more recent scenes where he's beating up the old Team Venture, that's just brilliant.

Just a friendly reminder, The Venture Bros. Chrismas  Special is on tonight at 11:30. It should be great.

P.S. I know Chrismas is spelled wrong.

The results came in on the 15th, still haven't checked it out.

EDIT- Sorry, the Special is on tomorrow, is the time still 11:30pm?

This special could very well be The Venture brothers' turning point, if it does well, a second season could be set in stone.  So tell a friend.

Does anyone know why the special is on sunday?

Pete and Billy will be in it.
Hot. :3

Billy This is a job for a urologist.
Peter Billy's more of a neurogenetecist.
Billy Yeah, but this kind of thing should be a walk in the park.
Peter A walk through a park with genitals for trees.
Billy And hair for grass.

According to AS's schedule, the Venture Brothers Xmas special starts at 11:45.  They have Tom Goes To The Mayor on at 11:30.  Why it's only a fifteen minute episode I don't know.  I'm looking forward to watching it.  This better not be the last new episode I see.  *glares at Adult Swim*

I liked when the demon was trying to f*** Dr. Venture in the a**.  That was great.
I also loved when Trina got embarrassed by Dr. Orpheus.

Great episode.

I hope this show returns.
