*cries as he remembers the only version of New Hope he has is the one where Greedo shoots first*

Actually, they pretty much shoot at the same time. It's still annoying that the Rodian bounty hunter misses completely at a range of 1 meter!

I'd like to see that.

A stormtrooper actually hitting what he was aiming at?*  I'd like to see that too.

Hey, maybe that explains the whole Greedo thing.  Maybe he learned to shoot from a retired stormtrooper.  Lucas should add a flashback scene showing that the next time he alters Star Wars.

* Not counting the stormtrooper from the beginning of A New Hope who captured Leia.  That guy was cool.  He also had the only blaster with a stun setting in the entire Star Wars universe.

These sort of things should be left as they are. Well cleaning up the images is fine by me but they should not alter the scenes.

The Gungan at the end of ROTJ isn't Jar Jar. Atleast there's no indication of that. It's just two gungans on the roof of a building in Naboo. They're quite small in the frame of a huge crowd shot. it's nothing really.

Stormtrooper can kill, but only lame minor characters like the Rebel Guards and Rebel Commando's. If they more than one line, the blaster bolt is bound to miss the broad side of the local space barn.

To be fair, the stormtroopers did kill Uncle Owen and Aunt Beru.  Then again, we didn't see how they died, so we don't know if the stormtroopers shot them.  They may have been blugeoned to death or something.

Hey, it can happen.  You just have to hit really hard.

Anyway, they could have been burned after they were already dead.  Or the stormtroopers could have just set the house on fire with them in it.

These blast points: too accurate to be San People.  Only Imperial stormtrooopers are so precise.

Sure, but we didn't see it happen.  I said I'd like to see it, not hear Obi-Wan tell me about it.

Imperial PR is writing checks that the Stormtroopers can't cash. Or else Obi-Wan was just a doddering old looney.

well, I just watched EP. 4 on the Star Wars DVD-I can see why people are complaining about the Greedo-shoots-first thing, but that scene goes by so fast you can barely see any of the blasts being fired anyways...

I watched both 4 and 5 on DVD this week. No complaints other than Greedo-shoots-first and maybe the Jabba scene in 4. The rest is great.

Want to see some REALLY good lighsaber fighting? The coreography and camera work is excellent.  http://www.theforce.net/theater/fxprojects/ryandork/index.shtml
