There were many great chances in Bender's life ...

When he met Fry and hit the lightbulb in the museum.
The day with the emotion chip.
When his personality partly merged (sp?) with those of the PE ship.
The time when he was Coilette (or is s/he still Coilette somehow even after that episode?).
Etc. ...

What do you think was the greatest change in Bender's life?
Did all those experiences (sp?) made him different to other robots? Is he more able to feel emotions or to make own decisions?

I think he was changed by his experience with the penguines, he discovered how to vomit "in a good way".

Dont forget the big, grim, mistake Bender made.
He sold his ASS. Futurama was forever changed after that(Also, it died). Coincidence?   :hmpf:

I think thats just a short term change, like after "Why Must I Be A Crustacean in Love?" Fry lost his arm, legs, and something else that sounded blunt when it hit the floor. Same thing with Leela being def (sp?) Everything would go back to normal if they created another eppisode.

But I think Bender is almost like Data from StarTrek (until he was obliterated) it the way that Bender had definate life changing moments in his life, interacting with the PE crew.

The lightbulb incident in the museum was a real clear cut change for Bender.  A few minutes later he was already stealing.  But the overall change for Bender occured just from leaving and being friends with Fry, Leela and the rest.

Being part of the Robot Hell Bonanza song. Also, his likeness was in an opera.

"I don't remember fighting Godzilla, but that is so what I would have done."

i think the biggest change has to be the lightbulb, he learnt he could do whatever he wanted, and that he was/is unstoppable.

The lightbuld was definately a huge change in Benders life but i think the biggest change in his life was probably when he met Fry, i mean He was goin into a suicide booth and although at many othertimes he talked about killing himslef, he never did it, possibly because the money in killing yourself sux

His life should've been changed in Godfellas when he talked to God, but he was just as ingorant as ever in the next episode.

Yeah but his actions were changed at the end of that episode when he went off to rescue the monks, and is n't that all we can hope for, that a character changes by the end of the episode, as by the time the next episode arrives everyone just goes back to normal
