I seriously think that's one of FemJ's best work. I did a picture of Nova 16 years later. It's no where compared to FemJ's, but I think it's good.  http://img68.exs.cx/img68/7154/Nova_16.jpg

I did go for the least logical 'Male Leela' scenario though purple hair and two eyed female sounds like the most likely had the writers did it, anyway, not so sure I like hearing about those two doing the horizontal shuffle.

I believe that it would be a male with red hair but only one eye.  The question I think more would be how would the child act, impulsivly like Fry or expected like Leela.

This is all from A Helping Hand if anyone wants to read, what I think is, the best story written.

That was perhaps the greatest Futurama fanfic I ever read. Everyone was in character, it had a happy ending, and they even referenced Pod People, one of my favorite MST3K eps.

I would think that, given the choice, Leela would opt to adopt a kid. As a child, she wanted nothing more then to have parents, and it would, if she decided to raise a child in her life, be in her power to give that to another orphan.

But why would Leela even want to have a child? They're evil little buggers that really interfere with one's ability to, well, LIVE.

Leela's life is valuable for it's own sake; not just for it's ability to create another, unlike that of most people. ANYONE can have a child, and raise one if they're not too evil or stupid. Billions of people are doing it now. But how many accualy do something that CAN'T be done by any other common Joe and Jane? I'm fairly sure Leela has done a lot of that already, and could well do more, if not bogged down by a Spawn of Satan(ie, child).

To Astral Runner: I'm getting an obvious feeling you dislike children. That's ok, I don't want kids either! But this is also in the future if or when Fry & Leela are a happy couple.

And BTW, I can relate to Astral Runner. I am only 14, I find most kids extremely irratating.

But Leela does want kids. That was made pretty clear in Cyberhouse. And as for her being sterile, she doesn't necisarily have to be. It depends on what exactly her mutations are. Besides, her parents were mutants and they had no problem squeezing her out into the world.

Although, there is no telling how many horrible mutations of doom Leela has that are merely recesive, but that could pop up if she ever had a kid.

Another reason she'd probably adopt if given the choice.

how old are you? we were all once children, I'm 17 and still considered a minor, and if you live in the states, and your under 18, your still a kid too, and essentially you hate yourself.

Common man, your 14! you have 4 more years before you can consider yourself an adult. untill then your still a kid, doesn't matter if your a little kid of a "big boy".

Stop hating yourself, all of you.

The "real" way?

No wonder there are so many kids who havn't been adopted! It's this mentality that makes raising a child from birth, but not being the biological parent is somehow less legitimate then accualy poping out the little bugger yourself.

Come on. ANYONE with functioning innards can give birth! Raising someone well, THAT'S the key to parenthood, and a rare one indeed. That takes skill. That takes patience! How many parents would accualy say giving birth(if you asked the woman, I presume) was the most challenging part of raising a child if asked?

Ok, that was kinda off-topic. But I'm sure if Leela accualy considered the not-insignificant possibility of creating another, possibly worse mutant, she'd opt for adoption. She is rather intelligent.

But if she hadn't been an orphan, she wouldn't be as incredible as she is. Yeah, it had the minor setback of causing a few mental quirks and instabilities, but most people worth knowing have a few of those anyway. If she had been normal, she might have ended up like a 30th century female version of Fry.(shudder)

Kinda makes you think when someone says, "better" childhood.

True, she wouldn't have turned out the same, but i doubt she uses that logic when thinking about her past. She wants what everyone wants: to be happy. And her past didn't make her happy. It screwed her up and left her miserable. And she's already made it clear that if she could go back and redo everything with her family she would.

Pretty much. But than I've met older kids like 5 & up who are real asses. I don't like kids. I wanna be like my aunt & mom's friend and just have pets all of my life. Pets are cool!

And I only corrected you for saying Spacedal11 wrong was cause I don't like it being spelled wrong. Not cause I'm picky about being 11. But I've been called a lot of things,

On TLZ for my fan art. The 80's Leela & the others you spelled my name Sapcedal11. Ring a bell?

And I just read your post Crash_7. If you really were 7 one that'd be the funniest thing, a 7-year old who gets Futurama. And second well that'd be weird. Also, in December on my birthday my name will not be accurate anymore. I should have put 16. OH WELL!  :D
