Originally posted by Xanfor: Fry loves Leela. Therefore, he wants to be her friend, and do anything he can for her. Leela likes this, and therefore accepts his help and friendship, yet keeps their relationship at a standstill because she's is afraid that if she promotes him up to the level of an actual person, (aka, Adalai, Chaz) he won't care as much anymore. God, that is hard to read. (I know it was hard for you to write too.) The ship is what keeps me commin' but it is so very hard when a voice in the back of my head tells me that it's gonna be reset next episoide. To call myself honest, I have to agree with Shiny, (as usual ) It's just hard to accept the fact that Leela isn't ready to jump into Fry's arms. (Shipfic does this to a man.) Oh well, [singing tune="Somewhere Over the Rainbow"] sometime in the next millenium, Fry and Leela will start dating [/singing] I made myself sad. [EDIT: My first ever TOTPD! OK I feel a little better...] ------------------ I made it onto Xanfor's signature!

I realise it was like 2 years ago but pregnecy might be very diffrent for mutants please post your thoughts Might be, but so far, the show showed Leela as a normal human being in most biological aspects: E.g. she seems to eat/sleep as much as a normal human being, is affected by illnesses as everyone else (e.g. Cold Warriors), the same human capacities (not counting throwaway jokes of e.g. superhuman strength, which are giving to various characters, e.g. Leela tripping the couch in BBA, Fry lifting Bender one handedly in BBoIC), a rather normale contact lense (except size wise), etc, etc, etc.... Leela being a rather normal human being except for the eye also adds some "God, how stupid everyone is" aspect to her origin. Being a normal human in nearly every aspect, someone SHOULD have grown suspicious of her not really being an alien. So, I consider the "least mutated mutant ever" would have a rather normal pregnancy, means 9 month, occasionally feeding the toilet fish, etc.... Then again, Fry and Leela having kids might happen some day, but it is not the episode of their lives the show could appropriately cover. The writers made a big deal about their relationship, and this would set their future "in stone". Simpsons can get away with "what became of thisandthatcharacter" gags from a distant future far more easily. Though it was mentioned in the show, no one REALLY believes that Bart will one day be Chief Justice, Lisa President, etc, etc, etc...

Not likely. Remember, Leela was the most unmutated mutant ever born. As I understand it, aside from the eye (and her purple hair, I suppose), she's pretty much an ordinary human. What about her ninja kung-fu skills? ... But i dont think shes pregnant, they would make the whole episode about that then, not hide it like a mystery prize giveaway, clever concept as it may be Thiiiisss messsage iisss frooom the futuuuurrre! Fry and Leela do have sex, but in the most disgusting way posssiiiible!!!!!!
WHOOOOOOO lol i was just about to post that, well we dont know for certain but its pretty obvious

For using the word "ninja kung-fu" alone, you should theoretically be forced to face me for three rounds in the ring But kidding aside: Why should training martial arts make someone an "unordinary" human being...?
