Twice for poor Nibbler ~ The Day the Earth Stood Stupid was kind of funny (especially the "stupid" Morbo, and sending more trains into the wreckage of the other ones) but the story didn't really need to be extended any further.  Kudos to the writers though, if you go right back to Space Pilot 3000 you can see shadows moving under the desk as Fry falls into the cryogenic capsule.

I voted Amy because she is one of the few characters who can have an episode or two dedicated to them without spoiling their overall traits.  Season 4 was so Bender top-heavy it started to get a bit boring.

I say Hermes. Amy did get quite a few episodes, PYHOMS, WTBR, KGKUAN, etc, while Hermes got one. One half, really. Half of HHRHGB was about Fry and Morgan. We know about Amy's family and her background, but very little about Hermes.

Every time they were used in futurama it was always brilliant, i would have enjoyed a few more cameo scenes from them, they have some of the most classic lines out of the whole series in my opinion!

Zoidberg maybe underrated by the other characters in the show, but fans certainly do like him a lot.

ShortRoundMcfly, Zoidberg is loved because he's underrated. He's supposed to be the unloved, sad, depressing comic relief. You saw what happened the last time Zoidberg got his own episode (That's Lobstertainment!).

I think Hermes is underrated. I don't want him to have more screen time (by 'more screen time,' I mean his own episodes), just maybe a few more jokes about how anal beauracracy (sp?) is. I liked his files with different sport sweat. A great gag!

Katrina only had one appearance right? She and Xanthor both kind of threw me for a loop since while I sort of got the joke, I was really curious if they had ever appeared before like Scruffy but were only dregged up for that episode...

I think Mom being a dictator and considering how according to the videogame she owns close to half of Earth, I always assumed she'd be more important but the character never really struck me as that great aside from the occasional "jam a bastard in it you crap" she generally led into wrinkly sex involving Farnsworth and wa sa bit mean spirited.

Amy I like a lot but she has had a couple of Amy-centric episodes, as opposed to Hermes who's really mostly been a background character who doesn't even get to appear as often as she does. Like there's been one episode about him mostly memorable because of the musical number but v. little else, but there's more to him than just the paperwork I think, and Dwight too even though I like the lil' bugger.

Plus I really like his wife and she doesn't really have any reason to appear without Hermes, and I want that Barbados Slim musical and Hermes might be the only way to get to it since his wife had divorced Slim... (Well there's the possibilty that Amy might cheat on Kif with him, but I sort of doubt that)

...and now I remembered that there's a second page, I'd say go with the greeting card too but it died. Alternatively there could be an episode about the evil food disposal, or maybe Zoidberg/Dwight/Scruffy (I still think Scruffy is overused if people remember him) joins Andrew's gang (...it'd make sense to have it be Bender, but he was heading way too many episodes towards the end)...

I think DEFINITELY mom should have had more episodes..
she's just a brilliant character, with absolutely wickedly funny dialogue, plus her sons are funny as hell.

Though mostly i think they should have said more about Morbo... and his people... and why exactly do they want to exterminate the human race??

The Vermin of the Week would have been a good ongoing gag too..
imagine the potential..... oh yes....

I think the best truly underated character was the creepy hair robot... he came it always at helpful time with the really wierd voice, and a head full of hair. he needs a little more appreciation.

Well, if you look closely in the last episode, the Wheel of Robots has one named "Greeting Card". So, maybe there is another. Or, perhaps he was reassembled (judging from Bender's track record, robots seem pretty hard to kill).

Hermes. Absolutely. There should be more about Hermes.
It's sorta obviously that he is more than just an "organic bureau-computer" and that makes him an interesting character.

Hmmm, I wonder if we would have more episodes with the Conrad-family in future episodes. Which would require new episodes. Same old story ... "Thanks" to FOX.

i voted hermes i mean amy and zoidberg work best when they are side characters i guess you could say they had the moderation of them worked out IMHO but really we just needed to see a little more of hermes in the common episodes also professor.

As far as underrated characters go I like Elzar and the chicken lawyer guy.

They are in it about the right amount though.
