Back on subject.  In my opinion, it's Fry that she truly loves.  She may hop into the sack with Zap (and mess around with Captain Kirk; that was kinda expected), but her heart belongs to Fry.  Now, if only he could "undorkulate", he'd be with her forever...

Actually, the parallel quotes by the Frys about "needing to do what makes her happy" implies that Fry3000 has learned basically the same lesson it took Fry2000 twelve years to learn.  i.e. implication that he is maturing faster than Lars did.

Yeah that's the theory I had. Fry get's into short meaningless relationships all the time so that doesn't mean anything. The problem lies in Leela taking it badly since they never really said what wass going on in hear head regarding Fry after she found out about Lars.

In any event I put more wait on the "manifestation of the trans-dimensional alien thing" theory.

I'm kinda curious how this thing with the other girl will go down considering the next movie is shortly after BBS and the Lars thing. Which is where my theory that she is part of the thing controlling him comes in. Fry put way to much effort into Leela during BBS to go after somebody else so quickly.
