Hang on - are you all really talking about dating a fictional cartoon character? I've never heard anything so stupid in all my life. You've all been watching too much Futurama. This topic is completely pointless and going nowhere.

She'd never leave Kif, and we know it.

(Thanks to Red Dwarf for that one)

Nah, I can tell. I think Gloop is a girl and her post roughly translates, to stop being sexist in general. Or maybe it isn't, I don't know.

BTW, there 'aint no such thing as too much futurama.

It was a joke. Read the line after the statement, you bunch of monkey trumpets!
It was a set-up paragraph to create the false illusion that I was aghast at the subject matter and then a smaller one-liner to inform you all I was actually aware of the inherent humour and therefore part of it. It was originally done in Red Dwarf with Lister and the Cat talking about finding Wilma Flinstone sexy.

Jokes just aren't the same when you have to explain them... Ohh, now I've made myself sad.

Hey, look, sorry you got the wrong end of the punchline. I wasn't having a bash at Futurama fans. I wouldn't have wasted my time registering on this site if I thought it was a load.

Well, Amy is an engineer, right?

1. Extract as much 31st century science and technology from her as I possibly could.

2. Return to 21st century.

3. Profit.

Amy may know a lot about 31st century science and technology, but would she be able to explain it in a way that you would understand?
