Zapp singing Lola (Leela) may be more appropriate than you think...

I don't think it would. By the third season, Zapp was just hitting on Leela, not making any mention of the sex. I think eventually it will just grow old and Zapp will be seen less and less. Or when Leela and Fry hook up, Zapp will get really pissed off and try way to heard to win Leela's heart.

Oh yeah, I didn't even think of that.  If the show continued, there would be a lot less of Zapp.  Once it's been proven that Leela is dating someone else, in a serious relationship, Zapp might just give up.  Okay, there'll be one final episode where Zapp tries to knock Fry out of the picture (fan fic), but then the Big Z would no longer serve the series.

I think he would still be in the series, he just wouldn't come in much regular contact with the crew. Remember him in 300 Big Boys talking to Mom? Those types of situations are probably where we'll see him later on.

Very valid, now that I think of it. You never acually SEE anything. And it is entirely possible that no real intercourse occured. Unlikely, sure, but possible. There was a lot of cham-paggin thrown around that night. And YOU didn't see it, all you know is what Zapp says, and we know he's generally not to be believed. Who knows!

Ewww... Of all the people to have a webcam... You know, some people shouldn't be allowed to buy guns, and people like Zapp probably shouldn't be allowed to have access to a webcam. He seems to me more like a blog type, anyway..

I never read that before.. I came to the thought all by myself! I suppose if it's asinine, then, it's asinine in way that is not derivative. Who'm I kidding? Zapp got him some tail for once! Now, Enough of my blathering on the subject..

Sorry, EL, I didn't mean to disparage you or your idea.  I didn't expect you to have known about that thread either.  It's just that, having been around for the discussion the first time, I didn't want to go through that again.

I suppose it's natural to want to believe that Leela didn't have sex with Zapp.  It's a nice thought; but the evidence doesn't really support it.
