So getting offed at the end of the first movie by a paradoxal version of his best friend while clinging to a disgusting nudist alien was not Fry's worst moment? :P Well, perhaps its but since Fry hasn't got there yet, either emotionally or chronologically, I'm not sure if it counts as a Fry moment at all .

I think that was one of the main themes of the movie. That Fry realised something it took Lars twelve years to learn. Fry: "I have to do what'll make you happy, not what'll make me happy."

Actually that makes me feel a lot better because getting it four months earlier than expected will more than make up for the extra expense of getting it shipped out here. And the stupid thing is that it's not like I haven't ordered DVD's from the US before, either. Just a few months ago I got An Ideal Husband and The Importance of Being Ernest (for... my, er... mother. Yeah, that's it, for Mother's Day. Honestly!) from the states because they were never released over here but for some reason it just hadn't occurred to me this time! [BURNS]Excellent![/BURNS]

Am I the only person who thinks the whole Amy/Kif thing is weird?
Nope. Though it started rather well: - Kif was sarcastic and nerved by Zapp, but stood no chance to make his stand against that oversized ego*. - When he was paired up with Amy in AFTR, it improved him. He was Captain, the bystanders considered him someone deserving respect. Amy was the "cute litte thing". She might have her ways, might be stubborn about certain things, but certainly did not have Zapps ego. To cut a long story short: Someone who was not supposed to put Kif constantly under the thumb. Well..unfortunately, this did not last very long. Very quickly, Kif was subjected to extreme Flanderisation, and became that pussified whimp. The initial "The whimp suddenly IS someone" turned into "When Kif is no longer only the punching bag for Zapp, he now plays the punching bag for his GF, too". *(That's also the reason I do not appreciate Zapp getting too much his comeupance in episodes. That character was designed to be a major assh*le. Yet, that's only one aspect. The "gets aways with his bullshit, though no one actually knows why people put up with him, and take his nonsense" was another integral part of this character.)
