David Cohen said that Futurama probably made up more words than any other show.
I also believe it has some of the silliest names for various things ever concieved.

What are your favourites?
What's name alone cracked you up?
Here's some of mine...

The Finglonger
Hedonism-Bot
Santa's Death Fortress on Neptune
The Hover-Bot Death Troopers (from the game)
Fat-bot

Slurm
The Penn Republic and Sylvania
Tastycrats and Fingerlicans
The Holo-Shed (less sophisticated than Star Trek's Holodeck)
If it counts, the Angry Dome
And, of course, Jerusalem's premiere attraction, the Sexateria!

It's also funny when they put "space" in front of something: Space Pope, Space Rome, Space Earth, space bees, space pirates, etc.

The doop(Democratic Order Of Planets) was pretty good too.  And the Balls that Earth went to war with.  Ooh, holophoner too.  And Old Fortran Malt Liquor.  That and the Scooty Puff line of space vehicles.  Slurm and Soylent-Cola get honorable mention as the silliest beverage names ever.

I like the Elusive Yakface. Hyperchicken is good too. And Zapp Brannigan is one of the most outlandish names I've ever heard, carrying with it that 50's space-hero sense of mysogynistic machismo and haughtiness.

Zanthor from "anthology of interest 2".

I really wished they'd explored his character more deeply than just mentioning his name.
