Hmm, well, Cubert reminds me of Martin.. Maybe with Martin's brains and propensity for being wounded, though, not his attitude. Apu and Ipjee of course.. Honestly, there aren't many realistic character comparisons I can think of. Mr. Burns always seemed so giddy in his amorality.. How anyone can compare his glee to Mom's bitter and vulgar worldview I can't understand.

1. No. 2. Ew. 3. You just made Ignar and Mr. Smithers cry.

I just thought of something. What if Mr. Burns and Mom got married? Except they're both fictional in each other's universes. Mom could probably download Burns's appearance onto a blank robot if she so chose, but I hope she wouldn't. And I think Cubert is sort of a young Comic Book Guy, although he isn't anywhere near as funny.

Now THAT I didn't know! Now, I don't know much about Smithers' personal life.. But in defense of the topic title, it IS possible that remark could be referencing his family[he could be rather like Mr. Tamzarian in that respect].. The comics are not necessarily canon and that's a vague statement. That is a pretty funny injoke. One must remember of course that in appearance, Mom and Monty are like the sun and the moon, and appearance was apparently all Smithers was going by when he said that.
