Sure.  There are also plenty of other examples that you could have used to point out the fact that Amy isn't very bright, but most of the examples you listed had to do with her being clumsy.

No, anime characters have chins and the proper number of fingers regardless of your personal taste.   

 

For me: I don't like anime.

I didn't say that you did.  I said that I think that anime style characters look more human-like than Groening style ones.  Of course, there's a lot of variation in animation style within anime.  The character designs can go from fairly realistic to super deformed chibi-ized crazyness (sometimes in the same anime).

Anyway, it's possible for Leela to look good when she's drawn in anime style.  Just take a look at EvilLunch's art.

Maybe, except for the giant eyeball in the middle of her forehead.

I'm sorry, but whenever I try to picture what Leela would look like in real life, I always end up imagining someone who looks a lot like a female version of Rell.

I forget if someone said it in this thread or another, but Leela has rejected virtually all the men she's ever known, including the one who truly, absolutely, abjectly, unreservedly loves her (gee, who could that be?) While Amy has bedded any number of desirable men and quickly lost interest in them, and then proceeded to love a squishy green alien for exactly the same reasons Leela ignores in Fry.
It would seem Amy has more depth to her than is obvious - And the argument has been made, when you look at it this way, Amy has more depth of character than Leela.
Still, I'll take Leela ove Amy. She's a more fully developed character. She's conflicted, flawed, and to me at least, more compelling.

I'm not going to flame you, I'm glad that while you like Leela more than Amy, you still love Amy a lot. If only everyone else could see that Amy and Leela are both good.

I think they've both got their charms. I mean if you were looking for a night of hot, wild, dirty, exotic, martian sex then Amy's your girl... she's just seems to be leaking pheromones.
Whereas I think that sex (an probably a relationship) with Leela would be more special, but by no emans more memorable, as she seems more subtle in her flaunting and flirting and also seems much harder to bed.....I think sex with her would be more passionate...Its all subjective though..
