Okay, I don't think this has been done before (I searched) but I could have made a mistake, and, if I did, redirect me to the other thread.
Anyway, the question is, what is your favorite Morbo and Linda news broadcast?
Mine is from "The Day the Earth Stood Stupid":

Morbo is spinning on his chair and falls.

Linda :(laughs) You fell! (waves to camera) Hi! Today some bad things happened. One bad thing was, a train got crashed in New Jersey. Wanna' see?

Cut to: picture of a burning train

Linda(con't.): People won't be late for work though, because the governor lady said "I'm sending in more trains!"

(another train crashes into the burning one and catches on fire)

Cut to: the newsroom

Morbo: Morbo can't understand his telaprompter, he forgot how you say the letter that looks like a man with a hat.

Linda: It's a 'T', it goes "ta".

Morbo :(friendly) Hello little man. (hostile) I will destroy you!

Anyway, if this has already been done, close this and redirect me.

Ha, good idea for a thread. The one you listed is probably my favorite, too.

This one caused me a laugher attack and laugher attacks I had watching Futurama can be counted on fingers of one hand (This doesn't mean Futurama is not funny to me, it simply means that I don't laugh out loud so often and if something makes me do it, it has to be really good)

It's not Morbo AND Linda, but my favorite Morbo-in-a-professional-capacity moment is from A Head in the Polls.

"Puny Human Number One. Puny Human Number Two. And Morbo's good friend, Richard Nixon."

Always gets a laugh from me.

The dumb-ified one is my favourite one as well.
But the one with the windmills is hee-lar-ee-us too. And also:
"Our next guest has been teaching the world to cook for over twenty years. But Apparently my wife hasn't been listening" *laughter* "I WILL DESTROY HER!"
And:
"Pathetic humans! Prepare to write down the recipe!!"
Both from 30%IC.

Linda: Today, the Polar Bear made their annual dive into liquid amonia.
Morbo: There were no survivors.
Linda: *laughs* Takes all kinds.

From Memory. Feel free to Quote Nazi!  :D

That never fails to make me laugh...  :laff:

I agree with hypknowtoad-
somehow it doesn't feel right saying that...

Anyway, Morbo's best lines are from the political debate rather than the news desk.  "Belligerent and numerous" is one of the best Futurama lines ever.

The first mentioned one by Gorky was the best newcast on Futurama.
Morbo: And that's why the students at PS118 are Morbos 'Vermin of the Week!'
Linda: In actual news, the human race was doomed to extinction today as the robot revolt turned violent.

That never fails to get me laughing though.

I like the entire "Crimes of the Hot" newscast.

Linda: With Halley's Comet out of ice, Earth is experiencing the devastating effects of sudden intense global warming.
Morbo: Morbo is pleased but sticky. The scorching heat has melted the polar ice caps causing floods of biblical proportions.
Direct your attention now to the African turtles seen here migrating to cooler homes in Holland. Morbo wishes these storward nomads peace among the Dutch tulips!
Linda: I'm sure those windmills will keep them cool.
Morbo: Windmills do not work that way! Goodnight!

Because technology is pointless (therefore everyone loves it) and only a few people can still understand the beauty of simplicity.
Of course, without technology, there would be no Futurama, so...

Hey, one thousand years has passed, anything can happen. For all we know, Holland was destroyed (don't ask how, I wasn't there) and one hundred years later an artificial Holland was created that was supposed to look like whatever they thought Holland must have looked like during its destruction. This, of course, is extremely far-fetched and is probably not what the writers were thinking, but my point is that we don't have enough information to judge it as being goofy.

It's just a joke really.  Most people think of windmills and tulips when they think of Holland.  Futurama is a silly cartoon, so that's what Holland looks like in Futurama.

It could be worse.  At least it's not like in G Gundam where Holland has a fleet of windmill-shaped robots.

And wooden shoes, don't forget wooden shoes.  :p

Anyway, as for an actual broadcast then one in "The Day The Earth Stood Stupid" was one of the best. "Hello little man .... I will destroy you!"  :laff:

But otherwise Morbo was at his best in "A Head In The Polls". Examples allready mentioned.

I think the Polar Bear Club bit was from "A Tale of Two Santas."  If not that, it was from "X-Mas Story," but I'm pretty sure it was ATOTS.
