Okay.  Forgive the lyrics to a song by 3Gs.  But y'all knew I was gonna do this sometime.  So here's a thread to post all your ideas of romance in Futurama.  I'm not gonna gush right now, but here are a couple ideas to get you started:
-What's the best romance-oriented episode?
-What's your opinion on L&F, A&K, anything!
-What kind of shipper are you?
And one I can talk for hours about...
-What songs can be used to describe it?
Yah.  This'll probably become a dead thread with no replies, but I had to do something before 7th Heaven and Caroline in the City came on.

Best romantic episode: Probably "Parasites Lost".

Leela and Fry will eventually get together, but it'll take forever. (Hey, you think this is bad, try watching what John Crichton and Aeryn Sun have been going through on Farscape.

As for Amy/Kif, I'll have to wait 'til "Where the Buggalo Roam" to judge that.

What kind of "shipper" am I? I'm a "whatever leads to great stories" shipper.

As for songs... music is none of my business!

Ep: Parasites Lost

L&F is being beaten to death, more A&K.  The constant teasing/flirting/stuff that makes you say "maybe?" is the way to go.

Shipper:  Whatever's funniest

Music:  Wha?

Ep: Parasites Lost/A Flight To Remember

L&F: should get...no WILL, get together, hopefully sooner rather than later. Or I'll personally visit the shows writers and 'educate' them regarding their constant teasing of us,   ;)

A&K: Hopefully their relationship will get stronger and we'll see more of kif in the show ("Oh Jeeze" )

L&F shipper most definetly, its so bad i've started writting fan fics (under Andy Robertson on TLZ + LIC, if your interested, if not then bugger off)

Music: Don't have a clue, sorry, but not anything by Sepultura or Slayer   ;)

Krytens right though John Crichten + Aeryn Sunn do have more problems (Scorpius for one) in their relationship, but at least they know that they love each other.

So THAT'S who you are! Cool... I thought "Crash Course in Love" blows the pants off my stuff. I can't wait 'til your next one...

My favourite romance ep was probably Time keeps on slippin' but I liked parasites lost too.

As for songs, I'd probably say Shiver by Coldplay and Layla (Unplugged) by Eric Clapton for starters. All though I'm not sure if that last one qualifies or not. What do you think?

That avitar is used by several people who had it first. I think someone else still uses it.

I think I need to watch this Farscape sometime...But it does sound better that John Crichten knows Aeryn Sunn returns his love.  Poor Fry's stuck, thinking that she hates him.    Of course, we know otherwise.  If she weren't so self-righteous all the time, we'd all be on Cloud 9.  Well, the shippers, that is.    Somebody, kick 'er of 'er high 'orse!  :D

Seems no one has any clue about songs, so I'll start it off.  Here's a couple, both by the Beatles:
"The Long and Winding Road"
The wild and windy night the rain washed away
Has left a pool of tears crying for the day.
Why leave me standing here, let me know the way
Many times I've been alone and many times I've cried
Anyway you'll never know the many ways I've tried, but
Still they lead me back to the long and winding road
You left me standing here a long, long time ago
Don't leave me waiting here, lead me to your door

"From Me To You"
I've got everything that you want,
Like a heart that is oh, so true.
Just call on me and I'll send it along
With love from me to you.

I've got arms that long to hold you
And keep you by my side.
I got lips that long to kiss you
And keep you satisfied.

As the no. 1 LFR, those are obviously describing L&F.  Maybe I'll find one for A&K.  Perhaps "A Hard Day's Night".  JK.

Sorry BumbleBeeTheta

But most of my music collection is metal/punk so i'm not that clued up on love songs.

But I'll have a check through it any way  ;)

By the way are you planning to do another installment of the "A Helping Hand" serial?

I love that one.

I still think Shiver counts, at least from Fry's point of view. After all Leela won't give him the time of day:

'So I look in your direction,
But you pay me no attention, do you?
I know you don't listen to me.
'cause you say you see straight through me, don't you.

On and on from the moment I wake,
To the moment I sleep,
I'll be there by your side,
Just you try and stop me,
I'll be waiting in line,
Just to see if you care.

Did she want me to change?
But I change for good.
And I want you to know.
But you always get your way,
I wanted to say,
Don't you Shiver?'

Or maybe I just love this song

In response to AstroZombie's post, yes I do plan on finishing AHH.  I've just been so uninspired lately, but I promise that I will finish it.  Especially since I got Comic no.5 and saw the lower right panel, page 23.     It was quite funny when I got to that picture, as I was listening to the "Shrek" soundtrack and Leslie Carter's "Like Wow" at the moment.(Yes, call me childish.  I listen to kiddie songs.  And in any other circumstances I would have hated lil' Miss Carter, but it kind of fit: "I'm feelin' higher than a cloud..."  Eh, maybe not.)
And I do think that Shiver counts.  I can think of about three or four other songs that'd fit also.  Maybe I'll post them later.  However, they're all new fangled pop songs, so I beg your forgiveness.  :D

Anybody ever heard of a foot 'pop'?  No, I doubt you have, but I feel that I must mention it as I have nothing else to do.  A foot pop is described by a character in 'The Princess Diaries' as something that happens to teenage girls when they kiss a guy they really like and their foot just sort of, well, pops up.  However, I don't think feet poppings only happen to giggly teenagers who listen to Destiny's Child.  And it doesn't have to be when a girl is kissing someone.  How do I know this and what is the point of this post?  Well, I'd invite you all to go dig out Comic no.5 and look at pg. 23.  Maybe I'm just hallucinating, but to me it looks like a foot pop.  And a person's foot can't pop for no reason!
Now, my sister tells me that I'm overreacting and that Leela's probably just happy and she may be right.  In fact, I'm fairly sure she is.  But it's still a foot pop!  And unimpulsive Leela doesn't seem like the foot popping type.  My sister also makes the point that it looks like she's jumping.  But nobody jumps with one leg vertical and the other horizontal.  It just doesn't add up.
Another aspect to look at is how Fry's arms are wrapped around her waist.  If she was so concerned in TKoS with the fact that he was always trying to win her over and she didn't have "those" kind of feelings for him, why on earth would she let him hold her that way?  I mean, if she really was the way she claims to be, she'd probably slap him.  So there's another LFR reference in the comic.
In conclusion, I can say that without a doubt, Leela and Fry are NOT platonic friends.
