Aliens from the Simpsons

  Have the Aliens seen in the Simpsons made an appearance in Futurama?  The green ones with the huge head, the one eye and squidish lower bodies.  (Leela could be a hybrid of a human and one of them with a 10:1 ratio!)

i doubt that Kang and Kodos survived that long.although in F#3 there is a statue of a rigelian.

  Surely Kang and Kodos were'nt the only ones left of their speicies.  I'll definately check out ep 3.  I am assuming "Rigelian" is the name of these spiecies.

in an interview with Matt Groening, he said maybe Kang and Kodos appear in futurama, but I think not as main characters, but just in a short scenes.

  Thanks.  You do have a point there.  By the way, the character known as "beholder" (picture to the left) look strikinly simular to an "eye guardien" in the movie Big trouble in little China.  I have'nt seen the episode it was in, but was there a parady present when it first showed (what ep?).

I'm pretty certain the creature in your avatar (The Beholder) featured in "How Hermes Requisitioned His Groove Back", it was in the Central Bureaucracy when they were trying to retrieve Bender's personality.

The Beholder is from Dungeons & Dragons, which kinda fits bureaucracy, having to do all that Thac0 and all.

On 1 of the episodes of the simpsons there a poster on the wall with an alien on it & he looks just like the horrible ginetetitious blob from futurama. I'm affraid I've forgotten which episode but to make it even more ironic the episode that it's in is from the first season of the simpsons (way before futurama)I noticed it when watching the DVDs of the 1st season, does anyone else know wether it is the H G Blob?

Kif (or another member of his race) was in the Simpsons episode "Homer, the Great" when they sang "The Stonecutters Song"

Today I watched a Simpsons episode called "Homer goes to college" from season 5, the reason I'm mentioning this is because the Horribe Genetitious Blob is in it (easily visible) on a poster for a film "space mutants 4". The poster is in the room that the nerds are in when on there computers. Now we know where the H G Blob originates from, If any of you have this episode then watch it & look for the H G Blob & pause it if necissary.
 So the answer to the question is yes, an alien from the Simpsons is in Futurama but it's not Kang & Kodos (yet).

The Mark Hamil ep of the Simpsons showed either Huder(Is that spelled right?) or Ralph with a shirt that said "Futurama".  Bot back on topic, I think Kang and Kodos should make an appearance.(See 1BDI's "The Fugitive" at ff.net or LiC)

woah! people sure know their simpsons around here. anyway kang and kodos hould tottally make an apperance. it'd be sweeet. im sure there are a lot of futurama/simpsons zings (zings - little jokes or background aperrances. i think) in futurama/simpsons.

H.G.Blob never appeared in the simpsons.Get a picture of both (I have one)and you will see that they are slightly different.And that Kif alien in the stonecutters song was also slightly different.

I think that the Horrible Gelatinous Blob looks like the Space Mutants from the Simpsons. They are probably the same species, unlike the Martian and Kif, which are SO obviously different!

PS: Their (Kodos and Kangs') ship is one of those fighting in the battle with the Alien Mothership in "When Aliens Attack"
